This is the first 7 minutes of the Marilyn Manson gig. Stay with it the first 4 minutes we are all in total blackness. There is cheering and the 'aussie chant' we all know and love.
I am 5"2 and was standing close to the front and centre of the mosh pit - the camera was held above my head and the crowd, facing the stage. When the screen goes black or the stage is vertical, i was almost horizontal. vey scary, i've never been in a mosh pit so intense; there was washing machine action going on and my feet were off the ground for 10 - 15 seconds at a time. My shoe lace broke after 4 songs and I had to high tail it out of there or suffer from a broken foot.
I would do it all again; this time wearing hi-tops :)
