I like Marilyn, a fan . I used to think he was negative and low vibe , then I lived went through some backstabbing fake phony people who really left me in a WOW speechless frame of mind now I see where my appreciation for darkness rearview mirror. The whole rotten lot

Too much hate for Manson for doing something different on each album. Its called versatility people! They're a lot better than 90% of the bands out there that sound the same on every track
@Scriptor428 жыл бұрын
+Skye Meadows I think there's a certain beauty to both, but I'd definitely take versatility. Nice Profile pic btw :3

Personally, I have been alone since I was 10 years old, i am 21 now. And the chorus of this song always gets me in the chest, people saying I need a girl and to get out there and fill my day with a multitude of hobbies. And hell, I am just try to fit i'm and yeah. I'm learning to fake it.

I love every single Manson album. I hated all the albums after Holy Wood for a long time. But then Pale Emperor came out. I hadn't listened to Manson for years but damn, I was really diggin it. So I decided to go back and check out the albums I never gave a chance. I was missing out. This shit is great. Everything this man has released is amazing.

I'm not man enough to be human But I'm trying to fit in and I'm learning to fake it Don't ever meet their friends Tells you too much or not enough, or worse, exactly the wrong thing Every nuance, every detail, every movement Every smell, sound, phrase, inflection The way she laughs These are all the things that you either obsessively fetishize or make yourself grow to love Although you are supposed to be done growing, she is still growing It's like a garden with two flowers One just blooming and casting a shadow just like yours And then it becomes struggle of sunlight or rain or weeds She and every she is doomed to be your idea of her She and every she is doomed to be your idea of her I'm not man enough to be human but I'm trying to fit in and I'm learning to fa-fa-fa-fake it But worse so, back to the point You are no longer the flower and the sun And most importantly the garden or the gardener A muse, your amusement I am used, it's all ruined if you meet their friends She and every she is doomed to be your idea of her She and every she is doomed to be your idea of her I'm not man enough to be human but I'm trying to fit in and I'm learning to fa-fa-fa-fake it Fa-fa-fa-fa-fa-fake it Fa-fa-fa-fa-fa-fake it Fa-fa-fa-fa-fa-fake it Fake it You never wanted to share your concept of your creation with any other gods or worshippers Your book isn't burned, it was never written Your book isn't burned, it was never written I'm not man enough to be human but I'm trying to fit in and I'm learning to fa-fa-fa-fake it Fa-fa-fa-fa-fa-fake it Fa-fa-fa-fa-fa-fake it Fa-fa-fa-fa-fa-fake it Fa-fa-fa-fa-fake it

I think it should be an animation of a gentle old timer doing some gardening, and then in the chorus it's interspersed with clips of him at a bondage club.

No, this is actually a slightly reworked version of an analogy commonly used in philosophical writings. The garden, and the gardener represent the state of being and the sometimes cruel and absurd power of life and death respectively. Marilyn has been a big fan of philosophy since the days of Antichrist Superstar. He enjoys authors such as Nietzsche.

Only 190K views, half of them mine views. People must be deaf! Where are all those hard core MM fans? Such a jewel slipping right through their slick fingers whilst they busy themselves typing odes of adornment on his other videos or moaning how they miss the good old times of MM.......(This comment only posted to stimulate rage in others).

the reason you people think it's his second worst album is because you don't understand it , try reading Les fleurs du mal and this album starts to make a bit of sense. even GAOG makes sense , all of Manson's albums are good, it's hard to categorize, because every album has a different theme, you can't compare romanticism to decadence, just like you can't compare Mechanical Animals to Golden Age of Grotesque
@AnonymousAZ9 жыл бұрын
Mechanical Animals was a pair with Antichrist Superstar, and they are worlds apart. It kind of shows the thought process with how his albums are suppose to be new entities each time.

This is the anthem of the abusive narcissistic boyfriend. They don’t see other their partners as individuals, but as extensions of themselves & instruments of their own gratification. They mirror and idealize them at first, then rip them apart when the novelty wears off and they discover they are with another human with their own identity, ideas, hopes and dreams. They delight in torturing, squashing and degrading them for expressing it. It’s a futile affair that leaves a person shattered if they stick around.

Humans have an addiction to labels. Some of us need pointing finger rehab. Denis Rodmans coach once said: I don't care whether he wears a wedding dress or not...I care about him for 48 min. If you like what you hear, will you become deaf if you didn't like what he looks like or he allegedly prays to? As a long time musician I can tell you this band kicks complete ass. Spread an exceptional lead and there you have it. Don't stop making music MM.
