Everyone who listed to Manson through the years often recalls the showmanship and the controversy, which made his shows and personality epic. But very few talk about how well the songs are written and the musicianship of his band. They really do write great tunes. The riffs, the hooks and overall composition are damn good.

I've never had an issue with Marilyn Manson, and I used to listen to him a lot when I was a kid and recently I've tried to check him back out, and I'm really pissed off that I've been missing absolute GOLD for all of these years. I'm sure his lyrics aren't getting you to heaven anytime soon but Jesus Christ does it sound good! Well done sir, well done!

The persona of Manson (Not Brian, the character itself) Is supposed to represent GOD themselves, as he is a duality between blissful good and devastating negative energy. If we start with his name, based on Monroe, onw of the most adored people in American culture, and Charles Manson, one of the most evil people in existance. Marilyn Manson tries to show people that GOD is not the perfect good that people think it is, and that there cannot be light without shadow. In reality this is the most true depiction of the christian god, as many others fail to depict him as a diety of balance, that maintains the universe and instead think he is some omnipotent care bear that is tasked with doing magical deeds for them.

Idk, but something about the tune to this song, and just the beat, it's ONE of my favorite Manson songs. I honest to God don't know why, but when I'm in the illest of moods, I ALWAYS turn this on, and it just takes everything away at the moment. Marilyn IS my go to guy, when I'm in such a SHIT mood. His songs make me feel better EVERY time I listen. Love this guy
