Ditto. I'm still discovering The 5th Dimension back catalogue in 2021, so to have Marilyn and Billy release this beautiful album now is just incredible and utterly surreal.

Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr have always put out timely music with a message. I've been a fan since 1969. My 1st 45 was Aquarius/Let The Sunshine In. Kids now don't know what a 45 is,I have over 200 of them and a turntable that works(actually an e tire stereo system)Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦

@@kimkochel6754 "This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius" was right on the money back in 1969, even if it was sung 51 years ahead of time (the age of Aquarius eventually began 21st December 2020). A year after Aquarius the Fifth Dimension put the words of The Declaration to song to astonishing effect, and again never were the words, "We hold these truths to be self evident, That all men were created evil...", nor the need to hold governments to account, ever been more relevant than they are today. I consider myself truly blessed to have discovered all of Marilyn and Billy's work only relatvely recently as I have been searching for real music that lifts my vibration as I want to be ready when the "other" fifth dimension arrives soon - music sung by real singers who sing from the heart - and that search came to an end when I discovered all of that criteria is embodied in Marilyn and Billy's work in the 5D together with Florence LaRus, Ron Townson and Lamonte McLamore, and all the way up to this astounding new rendition of a Beatles track, and sounding as fresh as ever Marilyn and Billy were way back when. They say angels walk among us, and to watch their many videos on You Tube along with the other members of 5D I think you guys came as close to capturing the essence of pure serenity and grace - and what a chorus of angels must sound like! - here on the earth. If you believe this we are understanding that the earth is shifting right now. Something that needed to happen. Mother Earth has the plan for,"The New World".

@@kimkochel6754 Well, when you consider how the five were forced to change their name (The Versatiles) by their record company and opted for the Fifth Dimension because there were five members and nothing to do with the spiritual connotation...and then a couple of years later Billy left his wallet in a New York cab and it was found by the producer of Hair who invited them all along to see the Broadway musical (which the group had tried to buy tickets for but the show was booked up months in advance), and which inspired all of them to want to record Aquarius (Let the Sun Shine In), you cannot doubt for one minute that divine intervention was at play throughout their magical ten years together, and that their music would be as relevant today as it was 50 years ago. Perhaps they were in fact 50 years ahead of their time and were not as appreciated at the time as they have since come to be renowned with hindsight and retrospect. Because here we now are, some 50 years later, in the age of Aquarius bringing in the new frequencies is enabling the planetary shift to the fifth dimension now underway. And to top it all off, Marilyn and Billy are back with us too at this critical time to lift the world with more of their beautiful singing. I listen to the Fifth Dimension and watch their many heavenly performances on You Tube over and over every night before I sleep (to ensure sweet dreams and a positive mood when I wake up each morning!) and now I've added these new renditions of Beatles tracks to my playlist; it's almost as though the 5D in the videos that still exist on You Tube are willing us to lift our own spirits in order to be ready for the shift when it arrives (some people even claim to already be living between the third/fourth and fifth dimensions, go figure!)

As a Beatles fan, it’s a totally different interpretation. You may not like what its about or not be comfortable with the meaning. This is what Lennon and Sir Paul were writing about and the vocal abilities of the artists to fly are amazing. Some of us “were only waiting for this moment to arrive.”

Beatles' songs will always be credited to The Beatles, but they belong to all of Humanity now, so whenever anyone feels inspired enough to sing one, as in this case Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis Jr. do, it's a tribute to them but it can be a fitting anthem to a worthy cause as well; beautifully done too, by Marilyn and Billy.
