Marin Four Corners Conversion to 1x - Part 1

Жыл бұрынAfter a few years riding with the #x Sora I thought it was time to not only give the commuter bike a rebuild, but at the same time give 1x a try. Not only will I be installing a 1x groupset on the bike, I will also be giving it a custom paint job.
This is step one, the teardown.

I'm mulling over 1x conversion, technically done it already by cutting the FD. But to do it properly, would love to use Hope RX crankset with direct mounted chainrings.

It’s coming. Weather and work have delayed my stripping the paint off the frame. I’m hoping to get the rest of the stripping and painting started this weekend. I’ll be putting more up during that.
