La première session de l'enregistrement de l¹intégrale des Pièces de Viole de Marin Marais par François Joubert-Caillet s'est terminée il y a quelques jours. Prochain rendez-vous en Mai 2015 pour la fin des pièces du Premier Livre dont l'édition est prévue pour début 2016 !

Marin Marais has become one of my favourite composers of all time! I hope that one day I will be able to purchase a viola da gamba, because I totally fell in love with this instrument thanks to Marais.

Very exhilarating! This piece gets frighteningly difficult towards the end and here the triumph is keenly felt as the final flourishes take place. A roller coaster of a movement.

Marín Marais, quizás el más digno y grande representante del barroco francés junto a Jean Baptiste Lully y Anton Forqueray. El máximo exponen y cultor de la viola da gamba.
