Και όχι απλα να ποσταριστει και να περάσει απαρατήρητο, αλλά να γινει και με τρόπο ώστε να έχει και αξιοσημείωτη απείχηση! (περισσοτερα views απο όλα τα εξτρα τραγουδια που εστειλα οι συμμετεχοντες για ένα ελλ παραδοσιακό τραγούδι είναι κάτι τεράστιο!)

Marina shows to Europe a deep Greek music culture...This song is a mourning one, since it's connected to the destruction of Naousa in 1822, the women who fell into the river to escape the captivity and atrocities of the conquerors. Marina, you are a great artist, wish you best of luck! 🎉

On the other hand, that choice of song doesn't open any door to the international market. She could choose something with Greek traditional elements, but with a more wide appeal musically and esthetically. A missing chance.

This is a traditional song from Naousa Emathia northern Greece! This is the first ever true Greek traditional song uploaded on EBU channel, and this is because of Marina. We deeply thank her for promoting Greek tradition.

The region this song comes from is quite northern so it’s only logical that it will sound familiar to most Balkans as we do share quite a few cultural similarities when it comes to traditions and culture in general. I hope the Balkans especially (and ppl of all ethnicities ofc) would really like this song and possibly remind them of something similar from their culture

You gotta ask yourself who is betting (mainly straight men), so they probably are fans of Croatia, but they think a non binary will most likely win. Then theres an obvious hit La Noia and Ukraine because they still have the support and sympathy from other countries. So they're all just guessing. You see how Netherlands isnt in the top 3 even, ? Because straight men dont think it has a chance, but this song is viral cause kids are liking it, but they arent betting... So Greece is like a proper dark horse in this, nobody wants to risk betting on it,or they just dont like it cause its not western enough. It could be a hit or miss with the jury, and the televote will be split between at least 5 country pretty evenly, in my opinion.

Μας έχει κάνει τόσο υπερήφανους αυτό το κοριτσι που στο μυαλό και την καρδιά μας είναι έτσι κι αλλιώς νικήτρια. Αυτό που κάνει φέτος στην Eurovision το περίμενα πολλά χρόνια. Greek music is extremely diverse and she’s trying to show it. So many different genres, styles and time periods put together. I feel that she represents Greek music and the wider Balkan/Eastern Med music quite well. Bravo Marina

"Μακρυνίτσα λέγεται αυτός ο γυναικείος χορός που χορεύεται στη Νάουσα, κατά την επέτειο του χαλασμού της Νάουσας κάθε χρόνο την Κυριακή του Θωμά και συνοδεύεται από το τραγούδι "στης Νάουσας το κάστρο". Δεν είναι Ράμνα. Είναι ο χορός Μακρυνίτσα, ή της Νάουσας το κάστρο ή ο χαλασμός της Νάουσας. Καμία σχέση με Ράμνα, η Ράμνα έχει τελείως άλλο ρυθμό και χορεύεται τελείως διαφορετικά!!!

Ανατριχίλα! Εκτέλεση a capella, χωρίς να συνοδεύει όργανο τη μελωδία, χωρίς επεξεργασμένο ήχο, ακούσματα βγαλμένα μέσα από την ελληνική παράδοση. Αυτό που ακούμε είναι ποιότητα. Greece came out of the closet and is showing a part of her true colors 🤩

Greece has been called a crossroad from East to West..and there is so much influence of East and West throughout greek music. Satti has been a true Greek as an artist..and she has been putting on display the traditional and the urban sounds of Greece. Hands down the most charismatic artist of Greece. Fashion wise..she's also the most fresh and authentic..being herself..she stands out..cause she is a real 🌟 I don't care if she wins Eurovision for Greece. Η Μαρίνα δεν αξίζει μόνο να πάρει την Eurovision φέτος αλλά αξίζει να αναγνωριστεί και σε όλο τον κόσμο για το ταλέντο της, την παιδεία της (μουσική και μη) και να κάνει μια παγκόσμια καριέρα όπως της αξίζει. Hello Marina ! Im proud for you to sing this song. Im from Naousa. (Central Macedonia) This is not only traditional music! This is and a traditional dance! When i was 9 years old on my primary school we dance it! I will tell you the history of this song... When Naoussa was enslaved by the Ottoman Turks, the Greek inhabitants of Naoussa (specifically women and children in order not to be enslaved by the Turks) preferred to fall from the Arapitsa river and dedicate their souls to God) This is not considered suicide nor a sin because before they fell they prayed to God and asked for forgiveness. Sanctified!!! Thus, when the city was liberated, people of that generation wrote this song about this brave act and we hope that these will not be lost! I also want to thank Eurovision For sharing this music! And also Marina!
