The fact that Marina has MILLIONS, if not BILLIONS of views across all of her videos and she is still fairly unknown is absolutely mind-blowing to me. What a completely underrated artist. This album specifically should have skyrocketed her to the top of the charts. Like another comment said... this woman has been robbed by the industry.

Electra Heart was Marina's alter ego for two years straight and she had to stop this because she said that it was making her lose her real identity. Electra Heart herself has four personalities/archetypes that are Housewife, Beauty Queen, Homewrecker and Idle Teen. And every song in the album belongs to one of them. Which country do you live in? I live in a country without the penny too (Canada got rid of theirs a few years ago or so, I don't remember when exactly) so I understand why you would make that mistake if you live in a country without the penny.

2012 was such an important year for me; my last vacation with my family, my first relationship, start of my apprenticeship and the last year my family had every member of it alive and well. Life has been a roller coaster ever since. From being extroverted to a complete shut down of social life. Listened to this again after 11 years and my emotions just hit me like a train.
