ppl who are confused about a quince I'll sum it up it's basically a Hispanic tradition where the girl turns 15 which is a coming of a age meaning your no longer a child on this special day you are given a doll as your finally present of being a child and you get a ring not sure why my mom never told me why I think it's just to remember that day. ALSO!!! you have chambelanes which are your honor of escort you dance with them then there a dance with your father and sometimes a surprise dance there call also be damas which are female versions of Chanbelanes again I don't know what the girls stand for. So coming from a Latina who's having her quince this month this is about how much I could sum it up I left some stuff out BTW I don't know if Americans do what we Hispanics do because our tradition originated in Mexican if I am mistaken sorry it just probably came into America they mostly do sweet 16, but they can have sweet 15. too okay I'm done typing my fingers are gonna fall off PEACE

My brother is in the Navy and watching videos like this makes it all worth it. All the days spent missing him, the times I've needed him there, but they never really leave. If I know that a few more days of my brother serving can indirectly lead to another getting to come home to his family and that one day my brother will get the same opportunity, it's all worth it in the end. I am so proud of my brother for the choice that he made to serve his country and I miss and love him every day.

for most hipanic families they celebrate the sweet 15 or most common known(its the same thing but said in spanish) as a quinceanera but for most american families it is the sweet 16

Most of these parties are paid for by multiple families all paying for it. At least that's how I threw my cousins quinceanera I spent a total of $1000 so she could have the dress she wanted and the party she always wanted

Just bc he was in boot camp he was gone away from his family for up to 12 weeks no communication at all just one phone call a week for 10 mins it is hard on a family bc ive went through and they will give you metals in boot camp so don't be commenting things like "they act like he been over seas" Bc if you haven't experienced it then you don't know why it feels like.
