Nice tank brother I would maybe attach the power strip up on the top on the inside incase any water travels down the cords, give it a little drip off, just a thought. Thanks for sharing 👍

I just got the same tank right before Christmas on a hot deal for $250. I've been watching this tank for over a year for that price point and it finally happened. 🙂 I haven't set it up yet but can't wait to get it going. I'm going from a 36 bow front to this one. What canister are you using and how is it working for water quality? Thanks for the review!!

Congratulations on the tank. $250 is a steal on Black Friday. I used a Fluval 407 on it. Dpending on how many fishes you have, the stronger filter the better such as Fluval fx4 or 6. Less cleaning and clear water if filter is strong

Love this! We bought the same setup. Can you tell me more about your basking setup? What did you use on the ramp and the decor? We are concerned about our little guys being able to climb the ramp.

The above tank basking you can buy at Petsmart. There are other versions too so just make sure if fits your tank. The ramp is a little slippery for turtle to get up. I used a floating dock from zoo med and zip tie it to the existing ramp for more traction. Hope that helps.

Thank you. I am using a fluval 407. Petsmart sometimes will have sale like fluval fx4 or fx6 especially black friday is coming. You probably can pick up the tank and filter for much cheaper than.

Hi! watched this video a couple of weeks ago because i was looking for information about certain marineland filter and i suprisely encounter that potus in your video. I think it looks gorgeus and amazing. How did you made it to produce that entanglement? Diid you make that structure which it is attached to? Or did you buy it? Thank you. We used bambo sticks to form a pyramid shape and wrap the plant on to it. As it grows, it will look like that.

You can get it for a very reasonable price if you buy it at the right time. The lights are suppose to be in front. I just put them in the back so the wire is long enough to go to the plug.

I just bought this yesterday and wasn't sure how the lights went on till I watched this. I still haven't got the plastic pieces on the lid as it seems pretty rough and feel like my hand going to slip and cut on the glass lol

Congratz on your purchase. You can also clip the lights on the front side of the tank so that it is “hidden.” However, I found it to be in the way when I was doing tank cleaning so left it in the back side.

They just had this 75gal tank & stand ensemble for $174.99 on black Friday. Wish I could've got it but I'm poor waiting on a disability claim 🙄 I did however ask my parents to get me the 36gal bow front with stand for $87.49 for my birthday and hey said yes!! 😀. No sales tax here.

That is awesome! 36 gallons is a good start. The 75 gallons is on sale every black friday. They sometimes also have it on sale for $400 or $300 as well from time to time so keep looking.

I believe it’s a combination tank with cabinet at PetSmart, you can look it up online.

The stand comes with the tank. Petsmart had a deal for the tank, stand, lids, lights for $350. It is a good deal. Make sure whatever stand you get can hold the weight of the tank. Not all stand are made to hold fish tanks unless you build or buy one that is rated for the heavy weight.

The website says the stand is 20" tall. Ive seen the stand in store and I can tell from your vid that it is defintely taller than 20". Wish people knew how to read a tape measure. 🤦♂️

I never understood why the 75 gallon aquariums are so expensive. I was able to get a 125 gallon aquarium for about $80 cheaper than what I paid for my 75 gallon. I needed a bigger tank for my alligator gar. I moved him from my 75 into the 125 and then put my red belly piranhas in my 75.

Walk around the neighborhood. I got my 75 for 25$ my 55 for 20$ and my 125 for free. Alota ppl jus don’t know how much maintenance aquariums need. And your set up is cool jus a lil crowded…

I’ll eat your ass if you post a link for a 125 gallon tank/stand/light/glass top full kit like this for $80 cheaper.. you are high as hell if you think you will find that. Some people have to comment their lies and bullshit on every video… maybe used you can find some junk ass stand and tank for the same price but new you will never find a kit for anywhere near this price for a 125..

No leaks. This tank has been good. I even spill water on the floor (overnight) and the stand soaked in the water, but the wood material are still intact. Usually when i buy this kind of tank i am more worry about the wood material that they are made out of on the base. So far it is solid. Just inspect carefully when you buy.

My water is cloudy how many days it will takes to settle down..i dont see a difference in these three days I set up the tank 2 days ago.for how many did you recycle your water in the tank

It can take a few days to a week for the water to clear up. After a week, if the water still is cloudy, make sure you are not over feeding, make sure the filtration system can handle the tank size, also if you have too many fishes in smaller tank, your water will get dirty fast too. It took about a week for the tank to cycle for me

Congrats. Black Friday also has good deals. I gave that tank away and upgraded into a 125 gallons. Currently i got blood parrots, flowerhorn, king kong parrot, tiger barbs, blue acaras, some African cichlids.

I use a plastic hammer and hammered it down from the top of plastic into glass canopy. It sounds harsh, but it will work. The glass top i believe is not complete glass. It has a mixture of plastic in it so not easy to break.

The problem with all these cheaper tank/stand combos is that the stands are way too short. 30" is not tall enough for a fish tank, imo. 35" at minimum, 40 would be best. I don't know why they are all so short. I have to sit in a chair to enjoy my aquariums, but I'd rather stand in front of it and see what I want to look at without bending my knees.

No. Fx6 is slightly too big. You might can do fx4 but it will be a tight fit. But fx 6 is an overkill for that tank

Yes this tank is 4 ft across. Most tanks that are 4ft will be at 75. You can sometimes find skinny tank that is around there too, but less than 75 gallons. However, it is rare

Since this video, I upgraded the tank to 125 gallons. I have around 15 tiger barbs, 1 flowerhorn, 1 santa blood parrot, 5 blood parrots, 1 green terror, 1 rainbow shark, 2 blue acaras, 3 african cichlids.

Every single tank from Pet Smart has 50/50 reviews saying they leak. It's just a matter of luck and how much you trust your local Pet Smart, my tank does too (which is the Aqueon 65 Ensemble), and I've had no problems with mine. Just be careful and examine them before you buy and make sure the glue is nice and thick at the sealing points.

The stand came assembled. I wouldn’t take the chance of disassemble it since it might weaken the stand. It is actually very light. The tank is heavier though.

How much is it to maintain it and all that?

Once you get everything setup. Maintaining is not much. Fish food and dechlorine (i use stress coat from api) $15-30 and will last you a while. Cleaning the tank once a week will be more work than anything. I like my tank super clear so I spend more time wiping things down. You can get good deals with the tank and filter if you wait for Black Friday. Petsmart usually has very good sales. You might be able to get the tank for $250 and filter for $100.

Fx6 is a little overkill for this 75 gallons. Plus i don’t know if it will fit under the cabinets. You might have to let it sit outside the stand.

No .. it’s not drilled canister filters aren’t really made for saltwater .. unless you get a hang on back overflow that drains down into a sump

Yes it hard to clean for sure. I left all the hiding places to let the small fishes. Most of them are grown now so i took out a bunch. I have updated videos on the current tank. Looks a lot cleaner now.

I have four Top Fin tanks ( two 10s a 37 and 55g) and one Marineland 75g. All are around a 12 to 18 months old. No leaks or problems. Nock on wood. All of them have the black silicone. I'm assuming you had a top fin. How long did you have it set up before having problems with it?

Thanks for the warning. Also don’t forget to wipe off any water sitting on stand. It can weaken the stand over time.

Stand doesn’t always fit everyone’s need especially if you want a fx4 or 6. You can always build your own stand though :)
