A fan beam is a type of radiation beam used in medical imaging, particularly in computed tomography (CT) scanning. In a fan beam CT scanner, the X-ray source emits a collimated beam of radiation in the shape of a fan. This fan-shaped beam rotates around the patient, and detectors positioned opposite the X-ray source measure the amount of radiation that passes through the body from various angles. This data is then used to reconstruct detailed cross-sectional images of the body's internal structures. Fan beam CT scanners are known for their fast scanning times and high image resolution.

Hey, Thank you for the video! QUESTION: time of experience on board variates depending of the kind of DP isn´t it ? For example: for apply to Shuttle Tanker´s DP system certificate you´ve got to have more days than most Offshore Vessel´s DP systems.. I am right or not ?
