U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division; and Bravo Battery, 2nd Low Altitude Air Defense (LAAD) Battalion, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), engage in arctic cold weather training in preparation for Exercise Nordic Response 24 at Setermoen, Norway. Nordic Response is a NATO training exercise to promote military competency in arctic environments and to foster relationships and interoperability between the U.S. Marine Corps and allied partners.

One of my best friends was an old Altoid tin full of cotton balls soaked in petroleum jelly. Usually found the supplies in my wife’s nightstand. 😂 Easy emergency fire starters. That and a metal match.
