The jump is influenced by the speed, isn't it? They use it to clip into the moat level when doing 0 stars

@@urias134 Standard jump height is slightly influenced by speed, though long jumps specifically just add a flat horizontal speed increase (which is how BLJs work; they abuse the speed boost long jumps give to stack essentially infinite speed because no negative cap)

Imagine a speed% category for SM64 for the 70 or 120 stars run where you can choose Mario's speed multiplier but you can't change it during the run. It would be fun to see how people balance out the increased speed benefits with the drawbacks and eventually come up with the "optimal" speed for Mario 64

If you can bypass DDD entrance you can do 0 star with this. Would be interesting to see an optimized run of this.

There’s no way you could do that more efficiently than just normal sbljs. You’d have to go in a level and collect coinf first, that would just take too much time.

You could just normal lblj into dark world and collect coins before beating bowser. There is no way it wouldn’t be faster than normal speed.
