Kaze is a KZfaqr and streamer that has fully optimized Nintendo 64 Mario. He's modified the code to naturally play at 60 FPS on the 64. The community needs to reach out to him to optimize this game. It shouldn't be difficult. You can get this done. Reach out to him he can also improve the controls greatly.

@@mr_inconspicuous Nintendo actually shut him down? They didn't hire him permanently. They shut him down? They didn't bring them on to optimize all of the Nintendo 64 games for emulation? They just decided no. This is making us look bad.... I hate it when companies don't know how to be greedy properly.

A way to hardlock a level is require the invincibility from one star to get another star but wait out the timer.

Funnily enough, SM74 is considered a "casual" game. People have made so many games above the difficulty of SM74 that SM74 doesn't even qualify as a kaizo. Some popular examples include Super Mario Treasure World, King Boo's Revenge X and 2, Senseless Delirium, and Integration of Fragments. If you want to get started you can try Star Revenge 4.9 or 2.5.

Don't stream TRACKmania, stream SHOOTmania! It's the same french studio Nadeo who did it. And even if it's a FPS game, 98% of players are doing Parkour Mode which is platforming with tech (rocker wall jump, flick, etc...). You definetly will LOVE this game for sure!! Not like Poo will read this but I'm so tired of hearing the same braindead take on the overall legality of romhacks all over the internet by people in denial. If modern romhacks were challenged in court they would almost certainly be deemed illegal modification of copyrighted software. Just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it never will.
