I really like how Paper Petey Piranha starts by stealing your copy block and makes his own copies, it just felt comedic and made for an interesting guess which one’s real boss fight.

I like the use of all these bosses, but some creativity never hurt no one. There's a reason why this game is so despised. Where's the classics from each respective game? The only new character really is Starlow. Instead we got like a million Koopaling battles and Pokey for some reason?

@@Lagw1020I mean, it’s not really despised, more so just disappointing compared to previous titles. But I get what you mean. I would have especially liked the inclusion of Bowser’s generals from PM64, would have loved to see the Koopa Bros, General Guy, and Huff n Puff make a return

I actually ended up starting with the last of the series too, I was 15-16 when I started too. Even with it being the worst of the series, it's still great.

There is hope for a game! Nintendo has copyrighted the series so perhaps another one is planned!

Can’t tell if satire but I do agree with most. Music is amazing, story isn’t great but itdrc, the Koopalings don’t always make a game better, in this case I thought they do tho. Combat system in general is amazing.

What happened was that squaresorf, the developer of this saga, went bankrupt after this game, since then the possibility of another title is almost zero.

Sure, it's true the general narrative has been strained over time, but the interactions created between the different types of Mushroom Kingdom members combined with the already fresh and well-written takes on many others meant it felt just fine.

Have no idea what you mean by "the patterns for both phases can get too compacted." Breaking ShinyRoboBowser's shell is not tedious at all. It's only hard to break if your under leveled. That's your own fault for not leveling up more. Literally every M&L final boss takes long as they should, it's the final boss. This game definitely could've done more, but that's all the more reason it should have a sequel. Paper Jam is a genuinely good game.

@@chrange9714 Well firstly I did grind up a good bit, and secondly yes, I got the pattern down, but the fact that if you lose, you have to restart the whole battle all over again makes things more tedious. Also, why did you say that Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam could have done more?

@@augustbornone Dying during a final boss or boss in any game would have you start over. That's the point of losing. And when I said it could've done more, I mean they could've done more with the Paper Mario and M&L crossover idea. In fact, they planned to have more. They originally had you traverse both the M&L world and Paper Mario's world, Paper Luigi was considered as part of your party, there was going to be more twists to the story, and some new characters were going to be introduced. The developers thought that all this made the game too complicated though, so they simplified it. I'm very dissapointed that all of this was cut, but the final result was still good. It just could've done a lot more. It's because of all this cut stuff that I would love to see a sequel or something where Mario and Luigi have to team up with Paper Mario again to save their respective worlds.

@@augustbornone Intelligent Systems made that game and all the other Paper Marios. Alpha Dream made Paper Jam and the other games in the M&L series. I don't think the final story is bad. Simple doesn't immediately equal bad. It's a classic Mario vs. Bowser story with a cool twist. It just sucks that it was going to be so much more than what we got. I don't get how they found the story and traversing both worlds to be too complicated. Dream Team did the exact same thing, apparently it was fine there. Like, what?

@@THE_Marisa_Fumo Sure. Anyways, the first two worlds were a snore fest. Most of the enemies can't even do 16 damage to paper mario to kill him instantly, so I always have to use mushrooms to heal so paper mario would be stuck at 1 hp. Plus, both of the bosses in the first two worlds barely gave any challenge. The Roy and Wendy fight was the first real challenge of the playthrough, but I recommend you attack Wendy before Roy because her attacks are way more unpredictable. But when I reached Twinsy Tropics, the challenge started to become more serious, but less painful. Its not because of the bosses themselves, it is just trying to get paper mario to die everythime we want exp. I currently just reached Twinsy Tropics and now I am gonna try to get to the snow area (I forgot its name). So, I hope nothing gets too wild until then.

@@THE_Marisa_Fumo Hello! I am sorry I was absent for a while. Anyways, I finally made it to Mount Brr today and now telling about the bosses I had to face without paper Mario. First boss I came across up to this point was Paper Petey Piranha. He was so annoying because his strongest attack causes a dizzy effect 50 percent of the time. So I came in with a level above him and a LOT of super and 1-up mushrooms. Also, I got the counter belt which boosts POW by a chunk when paper mario dies, which is super useful. The goal is to keep Luigi alive to take 2 hits from the impossible-to-dodge attack that you need paper Mario for. Then, use the 1-ups on Mario and hope he doesn't get ko'd by the attack where he lays surfaces on the floor and attacks you with them, and make sure you do as much damage as you can to Paper Petey. Repeat until he's dead. It took like 20 minutes. After that, I am so happy to hear that the Wiggler and Paper Kamek fight was way easier to manage with dodging their attacks way easily. Anyways, I am now at Mount Brr, and I will come back when we take care of Bowser's Castle and reach West Gloomy Woods. See you soon man!
