I'M EXTREMELY SORRY that the AUDIO is dead in the video. It's currently 1 AM for me, 7 hours before my class tomorrow and I really can't fix this ): I have rechecked everything I can do, and apparently I can't get sound on this. I'm extremely sorry for this, honestly. I'm gonna try to see if I can use KZfaq's built in music or something...

@@tea101 at 0, up throw > dair > up air/up b/fair. between low and mid %s, you have up air+ nair combos, simple ladder combos, and tech chases. at mid %s, (fireball >) d tilt/d throw > ladders (most of the time). At high %s, you have landing up air > fair at ledge, d tilt > bair, landing soft nair > d smash, and landing reverse up air > bair.

you want to dash forward a tiny bit before throwing out an aerial. also try short hopping from a standstill, practice making your initial air drift as fast as possible

Mario has an awesome (sometimes) guaranteed kill combo, which is Uair to Nair all the way across the stage to Fair.

Good video! People need to keep in mind that these combos are done on a fast faller and are di dependent in some cases. dtilt follow ups at low percents are also an option select. They can jump out as well as swing or airdodge. Grab cover do nothing as well as neutral air dodge and directional, however directional airdodge will require a read/amazing reaction time.

Its spammable and long and safe on shield if spaced and can be used to cross up and is a good edgeguarding tool AND good for combos. How did you not know it was versatile?

It takes practice and beware that anyone can dodge it when you preform it but most importantly be creative when making combos not matter how good or bad they are it can still be worth it

Fun fact:when your mario and facing the ledge you can down throw shorthop up air and back air to swap places with the opponent and go for a combo that leads to a fair

I’ve found one inconsistent one where it goes up throw -> Down air -> Down air-> Forward air. It gets your opponent offstage and further down if you land a spike when you land it consistently.

I was about to comment to try cape combos but you do two. Try landing bair or up air to short hop cape at 24% and see what you come up with. I think even bair to grounded cape is true at 15%. I get people with these all the time.

The 25%-87%combo at 2:00 is: Downthrow, buffered down tilt, dash forward, grab, (optional pummel×1) downthrow, dash forward for 1-2 frames, shorthop, up air, buffered nair, dash forward, grab, (optional pummel×2) downthrow, fullhop, up air, fullhop, up air, up b. I've managed to get to the point where I can pull this off about 10% of the time in training mode. The hardest part for me is the downthrow shorthop up air.

Te dejo dos razones posibles. 1-puede ser por el buffer del juego. 2-una mecánica de este smash desde que lo lanzaron es que si presionás salto y ataque al mismo tiempo hace un salto corto. La solución a esto es hacer el salto y esperar un mínimo instante para hacer el aereo.

good combos dude, idk what it is , but marios combo seem kinda choppy nd looped🤔ya know, I definitely understand a hit is a hit, but I think that's too many of the same moves in 1 combo. shud break sum of those down into smaller and but super efficient combos...that might be harder because mario need that jablock ... i think speed and accuracy is key tho ..n to me, the moves will feel fresh nd brand new without that looping feeling🤔 im js btw nun personal, its just a thought. you did great with marios moveset,they're just alittle long , I'm kinda lookin for that short but deadly moveset

@@brandonmorehouse7507 there are plenty that can't be DI'd, there's up air or up tilt - idj down air, which then can easily get you bair or fair depending on di, there's idj up air - rest onto platforms (without touching the ground), there are new(ish) confirms like landing bair/fair - irar bair/up tilt, there's fair - idj pound, and that's just to name a few of the more advanced ones that can't be escaped. Puff's moves are so fast that there are still heaps more beginner combos that could be included. Also, just because dair can be DI'd doesn't mean its combos shouldn't be considered bread and butters, most experienced puff players consider dair to be her best move because it's such a great and easy to hit neutral and combo tool that has an incredible number of good follow ups, such as up tilt, f tilt, down tilt, down smash, dash attack bair, nair, fair, up air, pound, rest, and dair itself, possibly even an idj dair, which then confirms into even more moves in the air. Also, you can usually react to the opponent's DI to pick your follow up so it's not just a mixup thing.
