Mario Castle Calamity 2.5 HD Remake (Animation)

2 ай бұрынOn that fateful day 10 years ago or so, Mario decided to take on his next big enemy: the world castle! Does Mario have what it takes to overcome this challenge?
Following the events of the original castle calamities by Bigfoot3290, I made my own calamity way back in 2012 heavily inspired by the original two. Unfortunately, the quality is locked to 240p and that animation file is long gone. The solution? Reanimate it in high definition! So, yes, technically, it's a remake of a remake.

Ahh, a classic. Good job GMA! All the classic gags now in HD. None feeling a day old either and just as funny as always. Edit: The ending was much more dramatic than the original, but still leaves on the pesky cliff hanger for part 2.6!

A true masterpiece from the old days revamped and given a new coat of paint. And Goku as the cherry on top did wonders. Hope to see 2.6 when it's done. But for now this was well made.

I remember growing up on a lot of Sprite Animation stuff. I loved your Mario Run vid so much when I was younger, so seeing this feels like a flash to the past. (With some modern stuff thrown in) Seriously, this FILLS me with joy. If anything, I’m just happy that this was able to come out after your other projects got deleted. (Also, I’m sorry that happened TWICE) Sorry for rambling, I’m just happy to see this kind of content still exists. :)

Holy hell, the legend himself returns, and with a hell of a banger alongside him! Amazing work on this remake. I'm hoping we'll see 2.6 eventually given a remake as well, but even if we don't, this is still amazing on its own. Thanks for the childhood memories, and thanks for the beautiful remake/remaster of CC2.5! Can't wait to see whatever you do next. :)

I knew I didn't have the original animation file so I was going to reanimate as it was, but decided around halfway through to give it a slight new coat of paint.

Gotta say, it's plain weird how many memories one can connect to these silly sprite animations. Especially memories from what one used to watch on KZfaq or others platforms and for what reason. From the Mario Castle Calamities, which brought many good laughs with them, to e.g. SMBZ, which had just what you needed if you wanted to see a more story-driven Mario series akin to an anime. Sharing these videos with others and laughing together or even theorising how the series could go on... Pretty wild how somethng like this can take one back so far. Here's to another 10 years of forming memories like this!

I love the reference to PBJT Banana, FNF, Smash Bros, GTA, tactical nuke, and the modern era of internet memes (such as "dies to cringe")... This was definitely a pleasant surprise. You deserve way more subscribers for this remake of - in my opinion - a criminally-underrated series.

I remember this whole genre of mario sprite animations spawning from the beginning on newgrounds and watching the various forms pop up over the years but your videos were always special. Your style took the quality and attention to detail on par with Mr Lange from the original castle collabs and took it to a whole other level and just continue to improve upon it every single video you make. I hope you continue doing what you love!

A banger remake of my all-time favorite Mario sprite animation. Loved the new jokes fitting in better with 2024 humor, and the amazing final battle tribute to the other Nintendo franchises, Pizza Tower, and Akira Toriyama. Amazing work once again, GameMaster :)
