May be lag. But if it is a cheat, and someone sucks SO BAD that they need to cheat to win at MARIO KART, then they have only my pity. Real winners win fairly - cheaters are always losers, no matter what place or rank they finish.

Cheat or not, it only happened once that night with this race. So it was no biggie at all.

Same happened to me I was up against 10 people and I thought I got 4th but I got 5th like what the hell and I had a good lead against the other 6 so I don't know how I got 5th What annoyed me wasn't that I got 5th it is that it was obvious that I got 4th but the game was like " you were ahead but 5th ( I think it was Cat Peach ) had the mushroom " whatever I was still ahead so that was rubbish and it was stupid aswell

I've had a moment similar to yours. And I can say, yes it was rubbish. I remember on my match, my character was still moving from my controller; it was like the game had a "4th lap" going on until the results kicked in.

Angelprincess2431 seriously I hope the next Mario Kart isn't nonsense with rigged resulting and should see it how it is like if you are in second the whole time and finish second then you get second

Seeing as how Nintendo Switch will be a "paid service" later on, the Switch SHOULD have much better Internet connection so this rigged result doesn't happen.
