Indeed, it reminds me of the 80s synths (which I think most of the instruments/samples for Nintendo's games actually use 80s samples.)

Something odd I've noticed about this deconstruction is that the main percussion seems to be missing. There is no sweet, sweet power snare

I hadn't heard some of the accompanying instruments before, this is quite beautiful. Since you are doing spacey racing themes, could you look into Darkmoon Caverns from Diddy Kong Racing?

Always a favorite track of mine. For future videos, can you add timestamps for when each channel starts playing? It would be nice to know where the song loops and a new instrument is added.

aunque no tuve un Nintendo 64 jugué Mario kart en la pc, en emulación por supuesto y esa canción siempre me toca el corazón, tengo 33 años y dan ganas de llorar siempre cuando la escucho, mis pistas favoritas son la de MK7 y MK64, no importa que versión sea, original o remasterizada son mis preferidas y las llevo en mi corazón
