Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Item Smuggling against CPUs is VERY easy, and I'm gonna show why in this video! Not much skill needed.

They need to add Expert mode on the Cpus

Better yet, add a brutal level AI, where they don't rubber band if you're in dead last and they dodge your blue shells if they happen to have mushrooms in 1st. Also they actively try smuggling power items.

We can have it learn from ONLINE players too in order to get its programming! It goes onto online matches with good players and takes their movements and injects it into the cpus!

That’s why I mostly play online instead of against CPUs, playing against CPUs is too easy!

I think CPU players from 5 - 12 are just fillers to make the race more intense and don't let it look so boring (and let 30 Blue Shells per race appear c:)

Actually, it is based on formation ratio, they have to be a certain distance from each other to start racing in a normal speed. That's why they start super slow and as they are getting apart they start speeding up.

+Mankalor, I have followed several of yours. i hit one of yours in sequence correctly. I managed to chain a star and bullet bill close to finish line and the star was priority first with the race over when I activated it.

I tried this a few weeks ago, and yeah, it's free. On Dry Dry Desert, I started an entire lap behind and reached first with a bullet and shock shortly before the finish line. And I don't even know how to smuggle properly.

I remember how hard it made to me to win in first in 150cc with the highest CPU difficulty in other Mario Karts when I was a child and gain three stars in Grand Prix Now that’s too easy

Yup, you can. They have a parameter file that has all velocity settings etc

@@DreadedGhoul575 DreadedGhoul575 Sure thing! I'll send you guys my modified files that makes them harder, yet balanced. You can install it in your game by using Mocha + SDCaffine. I am loving playing it with CPUs after this modification of mine as they got much more challenging than the vanilla AI hahaha. My modified AI --> mkguh.s-ul.eu/xPKZvEil Vanilla AI --> mkguh.s-ul.eu/hJ48KVCT (just if you wanna compare values and stuff like that) Also @DreadedGhoul575, if by ''I'd love to see that'' you meant you'd like to understand their coding and how they work, poke me on Discord (MkGuh#8715) and I can give you a explained ''tutorial'' about what each value and parameter means!

@@mkguh Sounds good (perhaps a video demonstration?). Don't know how to mod the Wii-U, plus the risk of ban (I do want to play online on the odd occasion). What would be fun, is the CPUs using all wheels, vehicles and parachutes, since they're restricted to the defaults unfortunately.

@@mkguh I think the CPUs on vs mode also have their speed and other stats modified after every an, since I noticed them catching up a lot, the more I won (mainly the same three CPUs, like the Wii version). Note: I don't have the deluxe version, only the Wii-U.

See, for you cpus are easy, and I agree, but for people like my sister they allow for a more fun experience in which she can feel better, while it is still somewhat of a challenge for her

I've always thought that smuggling with CPUs was harder (at least for MARIO kart wii) because they always spam their powerups (especially shocks). Guess I just suck at the game lol

I don’t know why but I can’t connect to online racing😢 so I play only with my sister and “hard” CPUs , and I’m really good in Mario kart, and I even close in some of the courses in the time trials in 6 seconds behind them...😭
