Poof, When you start the game, the setting "smart steering" is automatically on. You can tell if it is on or off by seeing if you have that little antenna behind your vehicle (If it is there, smart steering is on). it stops you from going off of the track at all, which includes off road driving and falling in general, but you can't do an ultra mini turbo while drifting (that's the best drift boost you can pull off, giving you a speed boost equivalent to that of a mushroom). You can turn it off on the vehicle selection screen by pressing +/- and then pressing what it tells you to press, or while in the pause screen, doing the same thing. Also, while gliding, push the joystick up or down to glide downwards or upwards. That helps you control where you glide more. That is also why you hit the ledge in the piranha plant track.

That antenna on the back of your cart is preventing you from falling off the edge. It's a guide to help new players in the game. You can remove it for a more realistic experience.

Tip 1: You have smart steering on, turn it off during kart customization or pause in game and turn it off. Tip 2: coins increase your top speed so try to use as any as you can Tip 3: there are 3 rainbow roads

@@AQPAL gold kart sucks lmfao the burger car and the flying bug car with the tiny wheels are 2 of the best car combos, not saying there arent any other ones, but those 2 are legendary but dont use gold kart youre giving yourself a disadvantage for stylin

The reason why there’s “invisible walls” is that you have auto steering on, when your in a race press plus then turn it off
