You gotta use the round button at the back when inserting and detaching joycons! Otherwise they may get damaged which you wouldn't want.

Over the years honestly the pro controller is where I stay, it's comfortable in my hand for long gaming sessions and good when I record my Mario Kart videos. The joycons by itself is a lil too small and the joycon attachment just doesn't feel right. Only tried tilt controls like once when I first got Mario Kart 8 deluxe
