The attention to detail in this game is insane

In Thwomp Ruins, if you turn left after going down just before the finish line, you can see a dead Thwomp on a grassy field. Also, I can't see the mysterious face.

I found one! In Mario Kart Stadium, the flag on the first turn changes every time u play it. From Toad, Yoshi, Mario, and Luigi and Peach, I think

This is really an easter egg but its something I find weird. In Thwomp Ruins if you get past the Thwomps press X to look behind you then you will see that the Thwomps have faces on either side of them!

Regarding the Ultra Hand, Nintendo seems to have been making several nods to its past in the '10s, such as celebrating the Famicom's anniversary and doing the same for Luigi's anniversary in 2013, as well as putting the Ultra Series of toys (Hand, Machine, and Scope) in Animal Crossing: New Leaf as fortune cookie prizes during August fireworks festivals. (Get 'em while you still can until next year!) This year, in addition to the ones you mentioned, the pitchers in Rusty's Real Deal Baseball have Ultra Machines for heads.

Two things many people don't meantion! 1 - The pink, limousine like car (I forgot what it was called) is actually the same car from WarioLand, Shake It! Its Wario's car. 2 - SNES Rainbow Road is actually above Donut Plains 3! Having the same houses below it in Donut Plains, and both originating from the same game!

on sunshine airport behind the finish line looking right next to the track. You can see feather-holders holding the feather... a power up used in super mario world. If mario uses the feather he has a cape which can be used to fly or hit enemys

The "hand gribber thing" was actually a Nintendo toy, from before they made video-games if i recall correctly
