Exactly his/her point. Drifting is key to turning tight corners and getting speed. Especially on karts or outside drifting bikes. I'm not bashing on them or anything as I have no right to, but they could've tried experimenting with different buttons, as it looks as if they're using the Pro Controller.

never played mario kart 8, but in mario kart wii and 3ds you can dodge the blueshell by using any kind of turbo(drift/mushrooms) at the moment it stops to fall on you

I knew that when I suggested this the Teens and the Elders would have fun. I'm not a biased gamer by all means, but I do believe you have the most fun when playing Nintendo games. They just have some type of magic to them or something, it's really phenomenal.

MadCrainProductions Nope, they nuked drifting ever since MK7, 3 blue shells would put you last. Edit: the only way the drifter would win in your proposed scenario is if the other 8 are completely new to the game.
