I'd like to have a mode similar to Hot Potato. One person is the Bob-Omb Thrower and he needs to throw Bob-Ombs at other racers. If you get hit, you turn into the Bob-Omb Thrower. There is a timer, so when you're the Thrower when time is up, you're out. Of course there'd be a small cooldown on throwing the Bob-Ombs so you can't spam them. Maybe when you're out you could transform into a Bob-Omb Kart from MK64 and chase after the remaining racers to slow them down? I'd also like another Bob-Omb mode that's similar-ish to Slender. You have one CPU Bob-Omb Kart roaming around the arena. The others need to stay away from it, because if you get hit, you're out and turn into a Bob-Omb Kart yourself and chase after the others. This would be so wacky with just 2 players left.

I'd like an idea of an Angry Sun mode. The course would be auto-chosen as the Desert course for the team that won the last battle. This will be used for Coin Runners. The person ON that team with the most coins controls the Angry Sun. CPUs control Angry Sun's randomly. In the Bomb-Omb mode, it would make it even harder!

My ideas for retro battle courses: GBA Battle Course 2 (I really like the inclusion of the ramps being the only way to get to the middle section.) GCN Tilt-A-Kart (This stage would work perfectly with anti-gravity mode.) GCN Baby Park (I know this is a racetrack, but I always thought it would work better as a battle course.) DS Tart Top (Very colorful and would look good in HD.) WII Funky Stadium (Doing tricks in this open space was already fun in the original, and anti-gravity & flying mechanics can make it better.) 3DS Honeybee Hive (Even though this stage was based on a character I hate, I still really like the area that sends you to a room randomly.) I also think that, as far as new battle courses go, there should be Wario Coliseum. Now, I don't mean the version from Double Dash (Oh God that would work terribly as a battle course), but just the interior of a coliseum-like dome. That would be it. Just racing around inside of a sphere, no extra hazards or anything, but the whole thing would be in anti-gravity so it would be fun... maybe a little disorienting, but fun.

A capture the flag type mode would be awesome. Bob-omb battlefield would be really fun to battle on. I also think multi-level maps are always fun

The sad bit about mario kart 8 Deluxe is that while nintendo did return too the elimination mode in the Wii U version of balloon battle, they decided to stick with the Wii's ballon battle and forget that the first 5 games idea of balloon battle ever existed. I just hope that a new major update to MK8 Deluxe re-adds this missing feature.

(1 : Fly Factory There are Fly Guys leaving the underground everywhere) 2 : Troopa Mountain Range There are high mountains and you have to look at the map to know where are your ennemies 3 : Hammer Workshop So... I don't really know how this one is built, but an arena with hammers would be cool ! 4 : Wuhu ????? It takes place in another place of Wuhu Island., like on the beach or on Wedge Island... 5 : Studio ????? You can drive in a studio with computers and you can also go into a computer in the second part of the battle like in Delfino Pier (Wii) 6 : Rainbow Ring It's an arena where you can fall if you're not careful, there are two levels

It would be cool if at the end of that Volcano battle stage, ground sinks into the lava and then lakitu lifts everyone up onto a cloud above the area... that's just a thought tho

i think they should do this: in an SNES and GBA battle track they should put the music from the trackthat it based of. for example: GBA battle course 2 and GBA bowser castle, GBA Battle course 4 and yoshi desert, SNES battle course 1 with donut plains, snes battle course 2 and koopa beach and snes battle course 3 with vanilla lake

Are you ever gonna do the nitro track predictions? I had 2 ideas for nitro tracks by the way, 1 of them is bowsers castle, i had the idea for this one to be more like odyssey’s bowser castle. The second one will be the equivilent of ghost valley/banshee boardwalk/… for this game. It would be an abandoned space ship track which is heavily inspired by the movie alien. In segment 1 we would see boos trapped in containers next to windows suggesting that we jump out of them, because what’s coming up isn’t pleasant, it also will be suggested that they accidentally are responsible for what is seen later in the track so they are telling us not to pay for their mistakes. For segment 2 of this track, we would start to see signs of what was warned in segment 1, for 1, the music goes completely silent, and 2 we would start to see strange vegetation which doesn’t look too happy to see us and would be the first obstacle in the course. For segment 3, we add on aliens on top of that, these would look terrifying but not so much to earn it a higher rating, after all we want all that buildup of them as being terrifying to result in a good payoff.

Battle mode felt fine to me in mk8. I just feel that they spent so much time detailing the tracks they didn't get to work on actual battle stages.

I have a further idea for the pyramid stage. It would have a basic starting level with no access to the top 2 immediately. Sand would drop down from the ceiling and start to fill the room. Once it fills to the middle level, it would stop maybe for a while and you could take ramps to the top. With 30 seconds left, the pyramid fills to the top level. Think Delfino Pier and Dry Dry Ruins.

This is my prediction [some parts are not realistic but just a couple of battle modes I came up with]: Battle Mode will now have cups, just like the Tracks! There will be four cups, named after the modes we've already seen: Balloon Cup, Bob-Omb Cup, Shine Cup and Coin Cup. There will be 8 retro tracks and 8 nitro tracks. The Balloon Cup exists of: SNES Battle Course 1, GBA Battle Course 1, Snowdown and Mushroom Volcano. SNES has a high chance to become a retro track since it is never used; GBA was a retro in MK7 but I think when you put SNES Battle Course 1 in it you should also put GBA Battle Course 1 in it. Snowdown will look something like this: Some iglos, some snowmobiles and skis you can use as tricks. In the middle is something what could look like a place designed for snowball fights, with more ramps and fences. It is a real showdown in snow [hence the name]! I really like the concept of Mushroom Volcano myself. It could look like this: you have mushrooms sticking out of the volcanoes and you can drive on edges on the inside of the volcano. You have two edges though: one lower and one higher level. When half of the time has past, the lava will rise up, and you will need to reach higher mushrooms [which is possible] and at the final seconds, the mushrooms all drop so do you and you get shot out of the volcano! OK on to the Bob-Omb Cup: GCN Luigi's Mansion, N64 Double Deck, Shell Planet and Bob-Omb Battlefield. Luigi's Mansion is already explained by you and I share the same reason why it should return. Double Deck is the only non-used N64 Battle Mode track left, so it will probably return. Shell Planet is, well, a planet in the shape of a shell. That's it. The only ramps will be the part between the top of the shell and its bottom. Bob-Omb Battlefield doesn't need much explanation: it is just so logic! Next Cup: Shine Cup: Sombrero Town, DS Palm Shore, Choco Jungle and WII Delfino Pier. Sombrero Town looks like a regular Mexico Town: Mii's wearing sombrero's, taco ramps and everything else. DS Palm Shore really fits the Shine Cup, because the course is shiny itself. It could use some updates here and there, like making the Island in the middle as high as it was originally in the Super Mario 64 level. Choco Jungle takes place in a jungle around a tree covered with chocolate everywhere: a chocolate river, chocolate ramps and a big chocolate-covered tree! Anti-gravity could work really well in this battle mode. Maybe if you could drive inside the big tree? WII Delfino Pier should be reused because it is an excellent battle mode! They could use fountains with water, or driving upside down inside the building you can drive when the bell rings and the water has just not reached the level where it drowns the building so you have to drive on top of it. Last cup! [phew finally!] Coin Cup: 3DS Honeybee Hive, WII Chain Chomp Roulette, Bowser's Treasure Chest and Boo Graveyard. 3DS Honeybee Hive would really work well with anti-gravity: driving on the ceilings increases the size of the playing field and Nintendo could do smart things with this. WII Chain Chomp Roulette I chose because it fits in the Coin Cup really well! Get it? Coin Cup, Roulette, Coins... Nah you'll get it. I picked Bowser's Treasure Chest because you always have a bowser castle before a Rainbow Road track, so I decided you could race into a treasure chest like in Boo Tag from Mario Party DS, and not only in a treasure chest, but also inside! This being said, Boo Graveyard looks like a non-logical last track, since you would probably have expected something like Rainbow Battle Course or something, but I have no idea what that could possibly be, and therefore I think it is unrealistic, so I chose Boo Graveyard. It is basically driving through a graveyard, that's it. OK now onto the game modes: I think Balloon Battle and Coin Battle will return, and two new battle modes: Boo Tag and Base Battle. Boo Tag is exactly the same as Boo Tag from Mario Party DS, so check that out if you want to know how it works: the exact same. Base Battle will be like this: You have 2/3 'bases', as soon as one person drives through a base, his team [or just him] will get one point per second. When someone else [from another team in team mode] drives through the base you gained points from, his team will gain one point per second, and so on. THIS PART IS UNREALISTIC STUFF, NO PREDICTIONS BUT OTHER BATTLE MODE OPTIONS!!!!! That being said, I got three more battle mode ideas: 1. Destruction Map: The battle map slowly disappears, whoever survives the longest wins [also the piece that will disappear will shake before it disappears] 2. Capture the Flag: Two teams, one team on one side and the other on the other side. You have bases you will have to protect. If someone from the opposing team drives through the flag, he will have to bring it back to his team's base without being hit by either players from opposing team or items. If he succeeds, his team gets one point. 3. Survival Mode: You start with 100 seconds. Coins gain you five more seconds. Getting hit by an item makes you lose 15 seconds. If your timer reaches zero, you are out. Longest survivor wins!!! YES I AM DONE WITH THIS SUPER LONG COMMENT WHICH HAS JUST TURNED LONGER BECAUSE I TYPED THIS!!!

I have an idea for a battle course based around Mario 3, where the theme of the stage is a play (since it's canon that the events of Mario 3 was a play, so I think it would be random layout, but the size would stay the same. All the layouts would be the same themes as Mario 3.

I think since Nintendo introduced the concept of retro courses returning twice, I think they're going to use Yoshi Valley again. I like the idea of regular courses being battle courses as long as it's not spammed like in MK8! I think if Nintendo brings back a battle arena from MK8, it'll be Yoshi Valley. I think Figure 8 circuit from MKDS would work well as well!
