You guys missed me!? ^-^ Sorry about the long wait but i'm back with more retro selections. If you want a reason as to why I didn't upload when I said I'd uploaded, let's just say life got in the way and delayed my work. By the way, a few requests have been worked into this batch so I hope you enjoy. I decided not to cover 3DS in this batch like I said I would.
SNES Mario Circuit here with some old and new elements inspired by the Super Smash Brothers Brawl remix and Mario Kart 8's GBA Cheese Land. Of course, I tossed in some of my own personal elements as well. Seriously! When have you known me to stick to the book? XD
I actually made a remix of SNES Mario Circuit but I didn't like it. However I was unable to get the overall groove out of my head so I stayed closed to the style from my beta version and added on to it. I also recently purchased Native Instrument's Scarbee Funk Guitarist to help out as well.

@@Roxleton if we're talking about the remix, Smash already did a good job demonstrating how that isn't true. If we're talking about the course itself, there is plenty they could do but they choose to stay loyal in the worst possible way.

Ikr, bought the DLC, it's a lot of fun but man they clearly didn't do any justice to the music for this track 😔 Panman did it much better, it literally sounds like a track from the base game.

This music could’ve suited Mario Kart 8 closer than the official Mario Circuit 3 track. It’s jazzy and still faithful to the original track.

Nathaniel Bandy What's your favorite SNES Track? Mine is Mario Circuit 1 because it is so simple except when they should have made it 3 laps instead of 5. I'm one of you biggest fans. You should look up chriharrisgamer2967. He has a lot of good gaming videos. You should check them out. He deserves way more attention than now.

So I’m here to sadly inform that Nintendo didn’t give Mario Circuit in the booster course pass a complete jazz band remix, but they did slightly remix the percussion instrumentals, so that’s cool I guess.

I wish this is what the MK8D version sounded like. Don't get me wrong, the Booster Course Pass has had some S-tier remixes. But they really dropped the ball on this one

In reagrds to the DLC: I would get the argument of wanting to keep the classic feel, if they didn't already do that every other time they've referenced the track. From every Retro Redesign to that one level in 3D World, it's always the same approach. It's why this remix is so awesome, it's refreshing. Still, I was really hoping for an offical big band orchestra to blow up Nintendo's Studio with their cover. But for now this will be the closest we'll come to that for a long time, and it's really awesome to have come from a fan

Am I the only one who genuinely prefers the official MK8 version? The course itself is extremely basic, so I can't see why they shouldn't have kept things simple to fit the course. The higher quality and sick drums still make it sound like a proper MK8 song. I adore this remix for sure, but at the same time I'm quite pleased that they didn't go too crazy with the grandfather of all Mario Kart courses.

I don't know why they give practically all their songs a big band remix, but this song, the one most people would love to hear in an official big budget big band redux, they decide just to give it the normal SNES instrumentals with slight drumming improvement. Its so dang strange.

Exactly. The only reason I even slightly wanted one of the SNES Mario Circuits in the game was so they'd do a big band remix of the theme, and... they didn't do that. Every other arrangement this wave sounds neat though, so I guess you can't win 'em all.

If SNES Mario Circuit 4 was remade in Mario Kart 8 then this would be the music. Missed opportunity to have all original Mario Circuits remade. As the rest were retro tracks; 1 on DS, 2 on 3DS and 3 on Wii.

Ah yes, snes mario circuit. The tracks nintendo refuses to update yet still appear on every mario kart game with retro tracks. (Guess the closest though to any sort of remake was mario kart 7). At least i can dream of a polished remake with this soundtrack.
