That Mecha Bowser in lava hall was originally from Mario kart double dash. This is the second appearance of Mecha Bowser. And so does the entrance of the castle, which doesn’t play Bowser’s laugh sound in Mario Kart Double Dash.

In my opinion, the Wii version of Bowser's Castle as well as the N64 remix in this game are 2 of the top 3 best Bowser's Castles in the entire series!

This track makes me imagine I'm in the Cars Toon short Tokyo Mater, from the part where McQueen appears in the tale Mater's telling to Mater shooting out of the pipe. This is why I love this track so much! Bowser's castle tracks couldn't get any better!

It's hard to find a truly bad Mario Kart track and even then MK Wii had some top tier designs but the items of this game... man, talk about being reminded as to why I NEVER completed this game! Nintendo took it a step too far with the items! That said, I may return to it to actually complete it! Also, I wish some of the tricks characters did in MK8 DX were as dynamic as what they did here in Wii. Like Bowser retracting into his shell and spinning was one of the reasons why I mained him and Koopa Troopa back in the day and was a gateway to Bowser becoming my second favorite Mario Character in general! Second only to Yoshi because I mean... come on. It's Yoshi! (I remember being disappointed with how the middleweight characters played in this game because Yoshi was middleweight and you either needed that raw acceleration or raw speed to compete with the AI... or at least I did. I'm probably not good at MK Wii in the grand scheme.)

Mariokart is such a stupid game to me. It's not about skill, it's about chance. This video reminds me why I hated this game, and fell in love with F-Zero X and GX. In those games, it's a raw fight to win and out perform your opponents. Mariokart is just a Looney Toons lottery.
