In this series, we'll play 3 custom tracks that are not in CTGP because of their extreme difficulty! We'll be exploring some of the most unique tracks ever made together for 3 races each episode.
A mystery man, Gary, selects tracks for us to try to complete in the 5 min 40 second time limit. If 1 of us fails to do so, the track gets added to the Impossible List. Gary's identity is revealed when the list is filled out to the bottom.

I wanna say Gary's pick for the last track could be "his" since HMAN death run isn't a completely unknown CT, it's meant to be a challenge and many people tried it. That said, finally the series got challenging! I'm said you both were a little bothered, but I personally enjoy the old days are back!

We need more CTs like Hman's Deathrun that are just designed either for TAS as a fun challenge. That was great!

Well the thing with Deathrun is that it's not really a TAS challenge. Sure, in real time I can see how it would be challenging. The sections are particularly challenging to perform in a TAS (For reference, Hman's Deathrun 2 is harder and even still is not particularly difficult to complete a TAS run of). The issue with making a track specifically decided to use Tool's Assist is that it would involving every one of MKW's most complex and difficult tech and forcing them to be the only method to proceed. It's something I've thought about quite a lot, and it's really hard to imagine realizing that since how the hell do you playtest a track like that? You know?

I understand wario jetsetter, but Item rain? I dont feel that makes the tracks harder, only makes them random. If it's RNG, eh, I dont think empty space deserves to be in the impossible list. Good job on the final track though

@@sediew And then the Jetsetter made it literally impossible without sheer luck. Would've loved to see them try it with Flame Runner or something, but the item rain + kart combo was a disappointing choice.

I have to say, though, if Mario Kart Wii had a story mode with platformer like challenges, Hman's Deathrun would be a pretty good track for it.

I honestly think the impossible series is like a runner up to RTCT and I like that. I’ve been a subscriber since the very beginning, hoping to race you again someday. I remember in 2013 I ran into you, or maybe it was someone else. Besides the point, it would be amazing to do do again. Hell that would make one hell of an episode on my channel.

Gary is a diabolical genius. First, he lulls you into a false sense of security with the troll track. Then, he gives you a track that is theoretically possible, but really long. Finally, he gives you a crazy track that is actually impossible.

Hey Troy I see you and Mayro are having such a great time, anyway there's a new CTGP update yesterday back on April 6th, while racing in those tracks, you should take a look at the retro tracks, GCN Dry Dry Desert, GBA Sky Garden, DS Mario Circuit, even new custom tracks, N.I.S.W.O.E Desert, Sandstone Cliffs, especially Aquania, but one warning, these tracks are pretty complicated, they are such sliding courses, you'll end up losing control, you will never know what comes up, and could easily make you guys fall, I was very nervous that I may screw up, I'm so glad I did good, I was playing as my most favorite character, Rosalina, so watch yourselves, they're gonna be extremely difficult tracks, be cautious, and stay alert.

Agreed, every now and then I get this guy's videos in my recommended and usually the content of the videos are interesting enough for me to click on, but then I remember how exhausting and annoying the commentary can get.
