one of my favorite things about the Mario and Luigi games is how the bros do things in ways thay would be so much more efficient to do one at a time because their bond of brotherly friendship, or I guess Brothership is a perfect way of putting it, is so strong that they absolutely refuse to split up when they're a way to do something together.

I grew up with this series, I played Bowser’s Inside Story repeatedly as a kid, getting to the final boss just to listen to the music with the 3ds to my ear. Im getting this day one, i cannot BELIEVE they brought this series back after 9 whole years

This game is going to be a big milestone for Kevin Afghani as the new voice of the Mario Brothers! I really hope this game includes some new versions of the fictitious Italian speech sound effects that Martinet did in the past game. Like “Como a toto a dore bato!” Or something like that.😅

The fact that this has almost a million views already shows how much people missed this series

I'm sincerely amazed how Mario licence kept on living, around 50 years after its creation, with forever new refreshing titles like this one. You can literally make anything you want with Mario and his friends (or foes) with refreshing, yet simple, gameplay, music and art.

Little thing: I like how the eyebrows appear outside of their hats as to make them more expressive and to stay true to the original 2d sprites.

The art style for M&L series is so refreshing since we're so used to the regular Mario 3D models, glad to see the whimsy still preserved in 3D in a really good way.

Finally Nintendo is releasing something a little similar to Mario and Luigi dream team that was the best Mario and Luigi game in my opinion I’m really hyped for this game to come out it’s my childhood

Dude even though they switched from Pixel to 3D THEY ABSOLUTELY COOKED WITH THESE ANIMATIONS!! I Swear i really love the bounciness and expressive animations with really great vibrant color choices, fr picking up this game.

I cannot believe after nearly 9 years we finally have a new Mario & Luigi entry. THANK YOU FOR NOT ABANDONING THIS FRANCHISE

Some stuff I noticed in the trailer <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="39">0:39</a> New enemies with unique designs. You can see ones look like boars and the other one (the one being attacked) being some sort of flying flower thing. And also, new Bros. Attack <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="43">0:43</a> Aside from the flower platforms, there is a question block at the southwest part of the top. Also, coin counter on the bottom left part of the screen <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="45">0:45</a> You can briefly see the new HUD. Or at least a low level version of it, since later on we can see more buttons at the bottom right. A new counter above the coin counter, maybe a new currency? Also, apparently pressing L can make Luigi stay in a same place. There's also a new "rotating arrows" block, I wonder what it does. And something at the right that looks like you could put something there or I dunno. <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="48">0:48</a> We can see a city made out of outlets. Maybe one of the many islands we'll visit. 2 new NPCs which probably aren't important. <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="50">0:50</a> The statues that are seen briefly at the bottom left and right seem to resemble what could maybe be another character. Or maybe just deco <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="51">0:51</a> Behind Connie, there's a sign pointing towards what seemingly would be the cannon to travel to other islands <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="62">1:02</a> Look closely behind the cannon. Yes, it's a Save Block. Also, when the bros. are about to get launched, you can very briefly see Connie. That might prove the point I made of the cannon sign at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="51">0:51</a> <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="72">1:12</a> The Extension Corps. I know almost everyone noticed that the one in the middle is an AUX cord, but also, the one at the left is a VGA cable. But... what is the one at the right? (Btw is the middle one a jojo reference?!?!) <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="74">1:14</a> New Bros. Attack, reminds me a lot of the Superstar Saga ones. Also you can see there's a new mechanic called "Kaboom Attack", which I assume it's like some splash damage thing <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="78">1:18</a> The Bros. HP and BP can be seen at the bottom right. Also, there's something called "Emergency Guarding", which is done by pressing R. I'm gonna assume you can hold it down to take less damage in case you feel like you're gonna miss the dodge. Overall, the dodging system seems to remain the same. <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="81">1:21</a> New boss <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="87">1:27</a> The HUD appears briefly again. This time, it has 2 more buttons on the bottom right. Also, an overworld ability which I think it's basically Mario's helicopter ability in Superstar Saga. Also, the animation for that ability reminds me of Swing Bros. Advanced (Bros. Attack in Superstar Saga) <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="89">1:29</a> Look closely enough. There are some NPCs that just dissapear right as the camera zooms out. I think it's made like that so the game doesn't have to render too many objects, so instead only renders the ones that are close enough. That has been something since N64. This is a minuscule detail by the way, and no, I'm not complaining. <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="91">1:31</a> The platforms move to the opposite direction when Luigi hits the switch <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="95">1:35</a> Some question blocks floating around the area <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="100">1:40</a> *is that dorrie* <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="111">1:51</a> You can briefly see Snoutlet at the right corner. That probably confirms that Snoutlet will be an important character. Also, the boss has an "💥" mark on top of their head. That, in Mario games, usually implies that the boss is weak to jumps right in that part. <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="114">1:54</a> Dream Team's 3D Red Shell And that's everything I noticed by myself. Honestly, I'm excited for this game, and looks really good so far! I wonder how many new stuff it will bring once released!

Why are so many childhood series/games I grew up with coming back all of a sudden?! First we had Sonic Colours Ultimate (I admittedly grew up with the DS version, not the Wii one, but it still triggered some nostalgia) Then we had Nintendo Switch Sports Then the announcement of Professor Layton and the New World of Steam Then Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD And now this. How are all my childhood games/series coming back out of nowhere (I ain’t complaining but it feels like it happened really quickly)
