Sometimes I think that Mario looks into Luigi's mind and starts thinking of Luigi's saying "Look at me I'm gonna be better than everyone one day and I won't be made fun of, and live my life and sing Kum Ba Yah. Only my stupid brother, Mario will still stop me from doing the things I love and apparently, we won't get along." In my opinion that's probably how mario would think of luigi.
