It's crazy how many fans to this day still think Ramon Ayala is the one singing Tragos Amargos, Un Rinconcito en el Cielo y Casas De Madera. They completely dismiss Don Eliseo y Mario Marichalar and that's sad but that's how Don Ramon wanted it. When you watch old music videos, the camera is always on Don Ramon and hardly ever on the actual singer.

On a side note, I saw Don Eliseo perform with Don Lalo Mora, Don Raul Hernandez and Don Rosendo Cantu at the Palomazo Norteño in Tijuana this weekend. Don Eliseo still sings the songs he did with Ramon Ayala incredibly, it was so awesome!!

@malcorub he does sing but! He's not the main voice you hear . But like he said. People are fooled. He isn't a solo artist because without a real vocalist by his side. He ain't about much

V@malcorub If Ramon Ayala was that great of a singer, he would be the lead singer... not be the second voice. It's like David Lee Garza. He can sing well....but not well enough to be the lead singer.. .just good enough to be second voice.

People don’t come to see the singer they come to see the legend himself. Only reason this guy is relevant is because he joined the legendary band. Eliseo because of his voice was able to survive and thrive away from Ramon but he’s still remembered as Ramon’s singer. If he brings you in you know you’re subjected to whatever contract and conditions set by Ramon. You know what you’re signing. But come on when your standing before the man tell me your not gona say screw it whatever I just wana be seen and make my name known. If you can pull that off without Ramon’s light go right ahead. But if not don’t bite the hand that feeds you, made you relevant

Ramon is the main dude he hires this cats to sing. That’s all they sign a contract to sing they are not in title of anything that’s only if Ramon wants to gift the band something extra.

Performers on any any music recorded has the right to what's called "performance royalties". (Unless they are paid for for the productions and paid for their work upfront or right after the project is done.) If Mario wasn't paid AT ALL for his recording then yes he is entitled to royalties.

Damn. I see why Ramon is so rich. He's another quintanilla.. people think that ramon a front man, the main attraction. He's just an Accordionist. He ain't really nothing without a vocalist by his side. Mario has been there to keep the band going. He's a solid singer and fits the style 100%..FYI guys. Ayala isn't even his real last name...

He is not just an accordionist, he is the most influential accordion player in the history of norteño music, he revolutionized the way that instrument was played, and he has been doing it for over 6 decades.. he gets the recognition because he deserves it, he started his own band and all these singers that join his group get hired and can leave whenever they want, the truth is he made hits no matter who he had singing and all his singers werent able to make it on their own

@@2011FCBARCA and Ramon Ayala made hits with Cornelio Reyna, Eliseo Robles, Tony Coronado and Mario Marichalar.. these singers whenever they went solo didnt have success except Cornelio and it wasnt success to Ramon’s level.. Ramon is a beast and the voice is very important but if you dont have good musical direction you not doing anything with that voice

I totally understand now....I play 9 instruments I can record a whole album or two all by myself sorry guys not being selfish here just avoiding future lawsuits. There I will only pay performance on stage musicians very well deserved. Hotel food and travel expenses.

Ramon is nothing without all the lead singers and i dont know who was the one that started calling him el rey de la accordion cause thats not true there are many accordion players that are alot better than him .ruben naranjo ruben vela the list goes on he is overrated dude aint shit

Exactly I Think The Same Stuff Ramon Ayala Isn't Nothing Without His Singer My Respects For Him And His Group But Theres More Accordionists That Deserve Their Crown Like Juan Villarreal From Los Cachorros De Juan Villarreal From 1972 TO 1984 When Its was Juan Villarreal Best Era And Had His Best Members Old School Cachorros He's A Singer He Did 2nd Voz And 1st Voice A Accordionist And A Composer Lots Of Texano Groups Admire Him Because They Recorded His Songs Like Jaime Y Los Chamacos Recorded El Complejo And Los Hometown Boys Recorded Tu Delirio

@@Rocknrolljamesband he's from Los Angeles he has recorded every single album for Gerardo Ortiz, Roberto Tapia, Larry Hernández and a few others everybody wanted him but the only ones that managed to get him to join their band were Maximo Grado and it wasnt for long not sure what he's up to right now but yea he's a beast..you should interview him dude is humble as hell
