It sounds like they simply took the audio into Audacity and just put on a blanket EQ to cut out the lower frequencies. That's why it sounds kinda tinny.

@@colinhobbs7265 This is copied from Jarren's reply in a different thread: Thank you so much! So for some reason, the audio captured through the blackmagic hyperdecks we use from consoles can peak in the recording. This can be fixed by turning down the in-game volume but since Mario Party is so old it doesn't have that option. For the latter half of the recording, I changed set ups to negate the crackle but for the beginning bit I took the audio into audition and painted out the crackles using the brush tool and the spectral frequency display. I couldn't apply a blanket EQ or filter since the crackles sometimes only happened on specific sounds/moments.

Gavin's credit card game idea is actually kind of cool. Stars and items can only be bought with credit. At the beginning of every turn, you have to pay off your credit card using your coins. If you can't/don't, your credit score goes down, increasing the prices for you. You can increase your credit if you pay on time three turns in a row. If your score gets too low at any point, you lose everything. Keep lotteries, chances, miracles, etc. because it's a game and it shouldn't be a grim as real life. Definitely would need fine tuning for proper balance, but the core idea sounds like an interesting mechanic and could actually teach kids some basic fundamentals of the credit system.

@@Patchnose Even more crazy is how he more or less willingly put himself at the disadvantage this time. There were several instances where Lindsay was the best person to steal from and/or screw over, and he ignored nearly all of those chances in favor of Gavin or Meg. Had he gone all-in on the win, he would've certainly had a crushing victory. (P.S. Shout-out to a fellow fan of Jon/TRG.)

But due to how things played out she felt it better to go for gav/ meg and almost won. If you ever see them play together you'll know she doesnt team up.

That style of lamp generally requires a wick of some sort. You feed it through the tip (the part that looks like the spout of a kettle) and into the oil reservoir. The lid on top opens to allow you to refill the oil. You don't tip it over and pour it out like a kettle.

Man, I just spent four hours watching this and I don't regret it one bit. These four human beings are hands down one of my favorite groups to watch play Mario Party. (Have to give my boys at the JaboodyShow some love for their hype ass Mario Party sessions.)

Mario Party 4 is inferior to most Mario Parties IMO, except for 10 and beyond. 2, 3, 5, 6, and 8 were my favourites. Even from the map, this course is confusing to understand at first glance. Stars are often so difficult to get to, It's usually better to just play it safe and go to Boo. The items for Mario Party 4 are bland and low in variety compared to other titles, too.

It's weird. So many people say that 4 is the absolute best Mario Party, but from everything I've ever seen of it (I never played it), it seems like one of the worst. I imagine most people say they like this one the best simply because it was their first one.

I swear to god the basketball game from 2:25:00 was in a little video game machine at mcdonalds in the early 2000s. Does ANYONE know what I'm talking about? As soon as I saw the game the memory hit me like a truck lol

McDonald's used to have Gamecube's and Nintendo 64's in the play area during that time. The McDonalds by me had Mario Kart in a special machine that had pedals and a steering wheel. We also had a 3D Sonic game, no idea which one though.
