Actually, if you were to get into the specifics, losing by winning and winning by losing can be different in a game with more than two players. If you win by losing, then 3 out of the 4 persons can win. If you lose by winning, then... Oh wait nevermind it's exactly the same, isn't it?

Well, no, you're trying to get into 4th place and you cant have two players in 4th place. If you're in 4th place then you're winning but if youre in 1st place ( which is how you normally win, you lose. Basically, its thr same game of Mario but youre intentionally trying to lose the game to win
