I was a little upset that this wasn't like the other Mario Party games, but I still like this game. Sometimes it's nice to change things up, even though in this case the original is better. In my opinion, anyway.

this reminds me a lot like wii party, you have to get past certain obstacles on the board and you also receive bonus dice blocks for your mini game results. i miss the older versions tho where you were all separate and not in one cart and went after one star and collected coins but it is fun and they did have to change it up somehow, they are doing a great job and hope they continue to make more mario party games in the future!

I really miss the old games, when you have to collect the 20 coins to buy the star, and shop items, and those things. These new Mario Party games are quite boring. Just my opinion, guys.

I agree.. These new games are so... Bland... There's no chaos that ensues when players are diverging paths, dueling each other, throwing bullcrap orbs around the board in the hopes someone will give said or thrower all of their coins.. And these minigames are just reeeeeeeeeally fucking lazy and boring... I don't see why Nintendo changed the Mario party series when there was nothing wrong with 1-8

@@Squydward That's because Mario Party isn't made by Nintendo, only licensed and published. After Mario Party 8, the series was passed on to a new developer.

The Whomp battle at the end of this board was clearly inspired by the monster battles in Sonic Shuffle, specifically how you need to roll the right number to defeat the monsters, and how the monsters weaken based on the number of the card.

Looking back on the mario party series to see what's been going on. I've only played Mario party 1, 2, and 3 and if someone doesn't mind me asking a few questions. 1: Why would mario be playing board games with Boo and Baby bowser? 2: Is this the only bad map? 3: Will Nintendo do a remake one of the _good_ mario party games with better graphics? 4: Coins? 5: 11:13 Is this the only good minigame? 6: WHY WOULD THEY DO THIS, MARIO PARTY 1,2, AND 3 WERE AMAZING! WHAT ARE YOU DOING NINTENDO! YOU USE TO BE AWESOME!

bowser jr and boo were added back in mario party 5 which was a far as I know was the last one to follow the formula of the first 3....go and check out 4 and 5 they are the only good gamecube ones from what I heard

Funny, people get pissy because the player doesn't win. It's pretty arrogant if you just upload videos of you winning, uploading videos of you getting your ass kicked shows that you're not the best. Nobody's the best, some people are just better at something than you.

Just as expected, the guy who reached the end first lost because he couldn't break the Whomp in one shot and instead only weakened it enough for the second guy who was close behind to steal the win. This map suuuuuuuuucks.

capcom23 First of all Nintendo owns copyright to Mario Party so that limits it down to 2 consoles. Second, it's pretty obvious just by looking at this game that it's not a TV console. And third, you could have just found out by searching the name of the game in Google.

All I'm going to say is that it's almost like classic Mario Party. I mean, every turn you get to play minigames, you got items instead of different types of dices, AND THERE'S NO F**KING CARS I REALLY DISLIKE THE F**KING PARTY CARS!! But this also like Wii Party, every minigame you get to win a bonus dice and you have to go though obstacles. I'm not saying it Don't like this, i mean i actually like playing Wii Party, especially with my younger brother. And I like Mario Party since the DS. They game may not be like the ture originals but I still like it and might give it a shot at it.

Mario Widjaya He is using a 3ds video capture mod which enables him to play his 3ds through a computer screen and also there is no such thing as a 3ds emulator go buy your own if you want to play 3ds games
