This reminds me. There is absolutely no reason we shouldn’t have gotten a Mario Land 2 style for Mario Maker. We should have gotten more than one anyway and that’s one of them.

Was thinking the exact same thing lol. If they were to do Mario Land 2 style I hope it'll be the gameboy color one because black and white would be a bit too monotone and off putting for SMM imo.

I like the idea of using SML theme since it's a rarely used for videos but all of these didn't really seem specific to hippos, it could've been any large enemy in the way

Yeah: Super Mario Land 2 was a terrific title, and while there's room for improvements like the ability to replay the boss levels, it's still one of the original Game Boy's killer apps!
