I met Mario 15 years ago at a club in Houston. It was right after his family troubles were unfortunately made public. He was very approachable, engaging and so kind. His voice sounds amazing

Mario's voice is so rich and layered he's like a real example of "we really don't know what to do with him." Unquestionably, he's one of the GOATs of R&B, but I've always seen him in either a pop lane or singing standards or something. Can't really say to this day, but there's definitely more I would like to hear from him sonically/creatively.

Mario was an old soul at 15. A prodigious talent at that tender age. I described him at the time as this generation's Sam Cooke or Marvin. Of course he hasn't lost his edge. He's only just grown into his voice. He already sounded like a 30-something soulman in his mid-teens.

I love how some of the bigger artists that come on the Blue wall , in the beginning seem to be more Lukewarm on Terrell-until they realize he’s a genuine fan of there’s when he starts naming off B side / random songs of there’s that aren’t popular. Then they realize this isn’t a regular interview but a genuine real conversation between someone who is a r actual fan. Then they open up and their whole personality opens up… I LOVE THAT !!!!! ❤❤❤❤
