Returning from the Donkey Kong Games is... King K. Rool!
In this episode, we complete DK Jungle! We collect missing Stone Tablets, we raise a bridge, we rescue monkeys, and defeat Bowser Jr. and King K. Rool's troops. Hope you enjoy!

Funny how for the longest time for us, THIS was all we had for King K Rool’s “final” appearance. But now he’s in Smash Ultimate and he looks soooooo much better aethestically in there than he does here. In Smash Ultimate he got a lot of his classic Rare features back like his darker green skin, gold belly and even HIS TAIL. Along with having more realistic sounding crocodile noises

Right? That’s the beauty of new comers in Smash Bros. They returned a character in such a way that goes beyond justice. You bring them in Smash, they always deliver highlighting what maid the character special. What level of impact they maid to there series. I could ramble but you took the words right out of my month. He’s everything he should be too. A unique heavy character.

The only thing im upset about with his Smash redesign is he doesnt have a red eye anymore, his left eye is still bigger but its just a black pupil the red eye was a lot more menacing :(

10 years ago, Many of us imagined that King K. Rool would be making regular Mario appearances after this game. Unfortunately, that didn't happened, and his fate ended up far worse, by going into a hiatus for a decade.... (The Mii costume in smash 4 doesn't count) 10 years later, the unexpected happened... King K Rool came back as a newcomer to "Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!!" Out of all games!! :D" Hopefully now, he as well as his Kremling Krew will be making regular appearances again in the DK games, as well as making some Mario appearances too. Welcome back, Old Fiend!

@@RoyNumber1 Yep sadly that is true since despite Smash Ultimate bringing him back he did not begin make recurring appearances and to add insult to injury Mario Strikers Battle League replaced the Kritter goal keepers with Boom Booms. It just shows just how much Nintendo hates using them for some reason.

You know what interesting is that King K. Rool and the Kritters do not speak in animal noises in this game unlike the Kongs (who speak in Ooks) which implies that Kremlings unlike the Kongs are capable of speaking the human language.

I’m a bit on the younger side so this game was my first exposure to King K Rool. Back in 2008, i didn’t know anything about Donkey Kong Country or K. Rool’s past but I liked playing as him because he was strong and I liked how he had a scepter. I’m so happy he’s in Smash Bros. after being neglected for 10 years though.

I don't see why they didn't make K. Rool become a Mario Party or Mario Kart character if he was in this. Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach have their own slots but they couldn't make room for K. Rool 😑 he's way more interesting for sure.

That's a tricky question, according to Smash Bros, Yoshi and Wario don't count as Mario series characters. I'd say the answer is No, as K Rool only ever interacted with Mario in this game, and now Smash Bros. (This also applies to Funky Kong, and even Diddy to an extent.)

Yes In Donkey Kong Country 2, After Defeating K Rool, Diddy Is Sent To Cranky’s Hall Of Heroes Where Mario And Yoshi Are Numbers 1 And 2 Respectively
