I'm trying a different upload time and day out. Just figuring out what a good upload schedule with university going on and a schedule that you are all cool with! Let me know any suggestions.

There's a common error in every CT: They all forget about the shadows. I'm not a modder but I'm pretty sure that if you managed to create a 3D model and texture it properly, adding shadows should be piece of cake as well. It is way more obvious in Mario Kart 8, objects like trees are properly shaded but there's not a single shadow in the track itself.

In the specific case of MKDS it can be excused because lag. The others have no excuse.

Maybe most, or all of the tracks are direct ports of their original versions? I thought it was pretty obvious when Rainbow Road was shown and pretty much nothing was animated.

This is such a great compilation! So many of these tracks feel so natural in these other games (GCN rMC in n64, Delfino - DC - RR in GCN). Keep it up!

You know, now that I think about it, it's a little strange to me that Nintendo didn't add Chain Chomps into MK8 until the DLC, with their inclusion in GBA Cheese Land. I dunno, I would've thought they'd add them to like GBA Mario Circuit or maybe Bone Dry Dunes.

MK8 started off really weird imo, but fixed it's act pretty quickly. I hope the next Mario Kart in the series continues what MK8DX had going.

@@lordroy88 it did start off rough though. very polished - more than any other mario kart in fact - but at launch had some glaring omissions in characters, some classic assets and especially battle mode. over time it did improve and 8DX on Switch is by far the best MK game now.

@@MarioPower55 Agreed, the item system being based on first place and not on overall places is really weird and doesn’t give good players that were just a bit unlucky a chance to climb back up the ranks, the inability to hold the item removed the strategy and the tracks were really weird. Like the first track being a stadium and not a circuit? And each track only being either entirely nature-based or entirely claustrophobic. At least Wii had tracks like Toad’s Factory or Koopa Cape where it is both natural and industrial while still being unique. Glad the DLCs fixed that.

They really should’ve just made Funky Kong instead of Baby Rosalina or Pink Gold Peach, DK’s animation in 8 are also more fitting for Funky than DK himself, he would’ve added more variety to the roster, and DK wouldn’t have been left alone in the roster like that

So, a lot of the MK7 tracks that come out are only on CTGP-7 (Which is mainly only on actual console). I record a lot of my videos using emulators. A lot of the tracks that you see in CTGP-7 were not made for emulators so they don't work half the time or they lag like nuts. Also, 3DS capture cards are extremely rare to come across now and expensive.

I can "actually" tell you! It's a community ran Mario Kart Game that you can just play on their website. Community is super active and you should give it a try. o;
