Orion released an apology a while back explaining it. @@rakew9231 I had my character permanently die from walking into a room by himself in a dungeon. There were 10 giant mosquitoes in there (I forget their names, but they’re a relatively low CR monster that look like big mosquitoes). We were level 5 so we did not have a revivify diamond yet. The funny thing is that I was perfectly fine with that character dying, and I actually expected him to die. I just wanted it to be in a heroic sacrifice way type way as a way for him to atone for his past sins. Needless to say, dying from completely unrelated circumstances sucks ass. Especially when it’s perma death... SPOILERS I envy the fact that Molly got a heroic death.

@@yooooo8600 yikes... I’m sorry, that’s no fun. were the mosquito things mephits? my character nearly died to those too, it was one of our first encounters in the campaign and the dm misread the chalenge rating so she had to kind of plot armor save two of us from death in an early session

I’ve had the same kind of experience! Watching the whole cast, but especially Marisha, helped my confidence so much

This form of media is fairly recent and the people complaining were the same people who yell at the tv whenever a character did something they thought were stupid. Being on twitch and youtube allowed those voices to be heard. Also marisha tends to try and be very creative with her actions be it fighting as beau or casting spells as keyleth and that lead to some very epic moments along with some not so smart moves. Though personally some of my favourite moments were when keyleth fucked up spells like turning them into mistform when fighting the worms.

I'll give you three guesses as to why she gets hate and the first two dont count

Id say a lot of what Robert said and also a lot of people thought keyleth was annoying (myself included) and thought that was just marisha (its not). Most of it is not distinguishing character from player and they end up disliking both. Luckily we've seen this ease up a lot since id say most people like beau (how could you not?)

I think it was because once you get to be a high level druid there is so much to keep track of, high level druids are one of if the most complex classes. People don't realize how complex, I know I was in that boat until I decided to play a circle of the moon druid for a level 20 one-shot, I looked at the class on paper and thought "looks easy enough", boy, was I wrong, it was one 4 hour game and I was struggling to manage everything, preparing the right spells, looking up spells, trying to remember class features, looking up monster stats so you can find one with a certain traits or abilities because someone asked you to track a creature, lead them through magical darkness (Blindsight etc...), burrow under a wall, squeeze through a tiny gap etc... etc... they are like the Swiss army knife of classes

Interviews, joint panel shows, periscopes, behind the scenes, etc. Nothing is one sided about their relationship. They clearly enjoy each other and have amazing chemistry. She does something particularly funny, he's reveling about how that's his wife. He proposes in the nerdiest way possible, complete with a sappy speech, and she cries with happiness. I don't know them personally, but they are expressive people.

Raishaun was just manipulative and dangerous in terms of the control she had over everything and Lorenzo leaded a group of humanoid traffickers and killed Molly.
