@@wolfiemuse Yes, pulling out the pin isn’t the sole trigger of a grenade. You can hold the handle down and be fine as long as your grip persists; however, if you drop it, you’ve got about 3-4 seconds to dive away.

real grenades always can be defective though, so nobody would ever try to “cook” a grenade as they all could still go off when the pin is pulled. but technically they shouldn’t if they were all made perfectly.

Mark is right at 41:06. Pulling the pin doesn't activate the grenade. Only when you let go of the lever as you throw it. Then you only have 5 seconds to get to safety.
