Mark is one of the few modern guitarists who is recognizable within a second of hearing one of his riffs. Right up there with Tosin and Marc Okubo as far as having a "signature sound".

its a real boost to the ego knowing these guys are all bedroom taught and figured it all out the way we do now. with no theory background. just goes to show anyone can do it with determination and practice.
