Evans has been surprisingly good for us for and would be higher on mine. Anthony far lower. Only about 5/16 signings I feel have been successful which is pretty bad for Ten hag

Wout Weghorst cannot be above Marcel Sabitzer. He's scored more and he played well defensively which is what he was brought in to do.

Sabitzer basically was injured half the time in his time at United. And Weghorst was far more important due to the injuries from Martial.

@@fredsflintstone3702he was far more important and yet barely contributed to the game. He’d come on and we’d be basically playing with 10 men for most of the time. With sabitzer, although he was injured often, when he would play he’d definitely impact us in a good way whether that’s getting the ball back, scoring us goals or maintaining possession.

Not sure why you'd single out Sabitzer for defensive work. He played quite far forward. All he did was score some goals. Other than that I thought he wasn't very good at all. His passing was horrible.

@@Mixzoid - we all agree that the lack of service is not his fault. He’s strong but still gets bullied a lot. That young boy strength vs grown man’s strength (VVD, Konate, Kim, etc). I just don’t see or know what type of striker he is. He’s not a run in behind, not a target man, not a link up striker, he can’t drop in a #10. He’s an under study to a main striker. He’s 2-3 years away for figuring out what he is. We know what Martial is. Maybe it’s not good enough, but we know. We know what Anthony is. Not good enough, but we know. If you’re 20 and are playing every game at a big club, you should be good enough for the job. The Ivan reference was that the same folks ‘hopeful’ of Rasmus’s current ability wouldn’t grant Gruissay or Toney the same leverage or courtesy. After 10 games, they’d say they’re not good enough. Just like they say Onana isn’t good enough.

But you can see why Eriksen is some important to us. A younger version of him and we have an excellent midfield. He provides the but of class in a midfield of madness. Mount just feels like he’ll only add to the chaos and not particularly help only if he’s coming off the bench

Ranking player who came in to be a squad player below players who've cost a fortune as marquee signings and given nothing? Bottom has to be Mount and Antony. Top I'd say is Eriksen and Martinez. The sub keepers can be in the middle, they're doing exactly what was expected.

Mount isn’t a confusing singing at all. I think it was a great signing that for once shows some forward planning. Casemiro and Eriksen have a season or so left in them at best so mount gets a season or so to bed in and then it’ll be Mainoo, Mount and Fernandez in the midfield.

Half of ETH's signings make no sense. He had Sancho and signed Antony to play in the exact same position. He had Bruno and signed Mount to play the same position showing he didn't learn from Ole's earlier error of signing Van de Beek to the same position and not playing him. Then you have old and injury prone players in Casemiro/Varane/Evans. At some point he needed to have a plan. At least Onana, as error prone as he has been, showed a plan, but very few others did

Weghorst, Sabitzer, Reguilon Dubravkah and Butland were brought in as squad players due to injuries and squad depth. their own teams didn’t want them either. Thats 5/16 Casemiro, Lisandro, Holjund are arguably the best signings. Thats 9/16 Evans and Eriksen where last resort and have been worth it. Thats 11/16 Malacia has played a role and not expensive. 11/16

Which leaves TEN HAG 5 signings that he can be criticized for. 1.Bayindir (Not played at all) 2.Amrabat (Not used enough but he is on loan) But most importantly Mount , Onana and Anthony there is no defending Ten Hag on. They will be the end of him. I really hope they turn it around at least 2 of those 3.

I don't think Mount is that bad. How many united signings have hit the ground running. Onana has been shambolic, Hojlund had a miracle this week, Antony is just Antony. Only Martinez and Casemiro have been ok. He needs playing time.

Should have listened to rangnick. A proven sporting director and proven in good recruiting bit ten hag didn’t want to work with him and also the fans wanted him out because he said we need ti be more like Liverpool!! Amrabat is bobbins. Sabitzer was twice as good. Weghorst was the main reason Rashford got his goals last season by his work rate anong the opposition defence and midfield.

Wow, only the top 3 are great or good signings. Even the Hojlund is debatable. Lisandro and Casemiro have been great though. Compare this to Pep and Klopp's signings and its light and day. Pep's 10th best signing would probably be 2nd or 3rd in that United list
