i played career mode with leicester in FC 24 yesterday. Simmed almost all of my season ended up beating arsenal 3-0, Chelsea 4-1, City 3-2 and then get absolutely battered by small clubs like nottingham forest( lost 3-1), Sheffield United(lost 2-1), Brighton(lost 3-0) ended up placing 6th in the league and getting sacked for not getting european football. Absolute joke of a game but we all still end up buying it every year anyway.

@@ChuckwaldMartin this year the gameplay itself was a little bit better at least. But I sure as sht wont be buying the next one if they dont add the intros back. Like fc24 has literally no intro except a few seconds of people entering the stadium and then the kick off starts, no more players coming out on the pitch or anything, like why in the fk would you even remove that in the first place

They did. A quick google revealed it took place first match of the group stage on 14 Sept 21. Young Boys won 2-1. Keepin' it real with that quick sim! 🤣

Almost as though the quick sim favours your opponent. Next year, to even the odds roll for a lootbox chance at evening it up for 10 games.

maybe they do that so the player doesnt sim too much. so he actually plays just a theory but i think its also luck

In the 2033/34 UCL I had almost the same UCL group as United had this year; I simmed all the games and finished 3rd (then I purposely got knocked out of the Europa League). After the season ended I got sacked.

its like these devs want us to play every cm game, but does minimum updates to it every year, to make you mad, then make you play ultimate team.
