The Gonz is the goat & had a big influence on me as a street sk8er in the mid 80's thru the early 90's. Nice touch on this Video with Big Uncle Snoop narrating. This is a Classic

I met him in December 2012 in Shoreditch, London where he was showing his artwork. It was an honor to meet him. His VISION Skate Deck in the 80's was my favorite one! I hope he's still hanging out with Natas & maybe Tommy Guerrero. They are Legends!

Natas was my idol in 88 as a 13 year old. The high Ollies were mind blowing. Looking back I didn’t realize how good Gonz was though. He was already into the fake/switch stuff. Him along with Steve Rocco and Mullen changed everything. If not for Natas hurting his ankle he may have progressed further. If I’m not mistaken, I see a interview of him talking to Tommy guerro about the whole switch/controlling his feet thing wasn’t something he was really into. But yeah I agree…anything with Natas would be very interesting. Matt Hensley also.
