Will wonders never cease. Van and Mark play dueling Gibson Les Pauls on a Bill Monroe signature song more in line with the original blues. Ain't the Internet great. Virtually nobody would have witnessed this treat otherwise. You say how could it get better and then it does.

Van Morrison has been a great inspirator for me and for other people who write and play their own music. Most people don't do that and play covers. It didn't ever get me anywhere, but I always did my own music since age 14. And this vid shows something that I never knew before. What a nice person Mark Knopfler realy is. They also seem to have discovered Gibson has been making some high grade LP's again since 2013 (from what I've seen). Great vid. Thanks!

If you like this version have listen to Van playing it with Lonnie Donegan and Chris Barber taken from the Album Skiffle Session live in Belfast. Lonnie recorded this originally in the 1950’s.

I’ve probably mixed up Wyman and Woods earlier. And V reminded me, and she is correct, where I saw Guernica was the gallery next door to the Prado. I was in both. V has been to Rome twice. Said I was just scared to go. In case I saw Rome and died. We were watching oul Pope Frankie on the TV from Rome. Told her I had some groovy pics of Tommy on the Spanish steps and at the Trevi Foundation. When he was 81/82. Damian met him there.

É sério q é o 80o. aniversario do Bill Wyman? Não sabia q ele era tao velho. E por que ele nao aparece no video? Que pessima filmagem. Uma camera so o tempo todo e muito mal usada. Qualidade de som muito ruim principalmente no microfone do Van.
