La canción se titula “Postcards from Paraguay” en la que pinta la fama de país de refugiados que tiene nuestra nación. Es la historia real de un hombre que se vio obligado a robar un banco para pagar una deuda y huyó al Paraguay, desde donde no puede enviar postales para evitar ser descubierto. no habla de Paraguay realmente.

Mark took a nice sence of some southamerican melodies and created a delicated song . very nice. Very nice remembering of the magical South America. And this type of melodies are specially from 3 areas: Bolivia. Peru and North Argentina. Magical places

J'écoute dire straits depuis que j'ai 12 ou 13 ans. Voilà, bientôt plus de 30 ans que j'écoute encore dire straits et Mark Knopfler et je n'ai jamais vu un compositeur, un guitariste et un chanteur aussi grandiose que lui. Vraiment M.K ... you are the BEST !

You know what i absolutely love about Knofler? My grandpa introduced to his music, as he was a very big fan aswell. Ofcourse i started off by just knowing his biggest songs like Sultans of Swing, Telegraph Road, Brother in Arms and so on... But after some time you start to develop your own taste and you dive deeper into someones music. That brought me to this song. Personally one of my favourites. The feeling of peace and positivity that the melody alone brings is unmatchable. Knofler really got hits in every corner of his repertoire.
