This reminds me of some Lust For Life Iggy Pop stuff, his voice is/was so incredible. I still can’t believe he’s gone. Rest In Peace Mr. Lanegan. You are very much missed 💔

His voice...His baritonal tone....The obscure presence of the man himself: I can't remember anything so close to the damnation of the french decadent poetry and, at the same time, so amazingly modern. Mark Lanegan is by far the Lautremont of our times. He is not an underrated musician: he is an artist who will probably escape from the contemporary crowd comprehension to became a milestone later. Anyway, long live the Emperor.

I was in that park when a strange guy sat right next to me listening to Old Swan. I memorized a line so I could google it. I happened to discover a voice who I seem never to get tired of. Mark Lanegan is just perfect.

I knew him back in 2012. First one I've listened to was "The Graveddiger's Song" and I love him since. Have you listened to "Bleeding Muddy Water" yet? Or "Skeleton Key"? Just some of the all great songs fron Mark. ❤
