i woke up today to this video blowing up!! 😭 the views keep growing & it shows no sign of stopping. i honestly wasn't expecting this. i made this video because i thought mark's cover would sound nice with rain sound & of course i had to put it on loop because i can't get enough of him singing one of my favourite classic by yoo jae ha. i'm really happy & glad that many enjoy this simple edit of mine. thankful for all the loves! 🥺💚 also, mark lee if you somehow sees this first of all hi i'm a fan from malaysia haha i just want to say stop playing & do more covers!! you have such a beautiful voice & it's such a waste not to bless the world with that gift of yours. i have listened to many rendition of this song but yours is the most beautiful one as it's so effortlessly done. i promise i'm not being bias. anyways, thank you so much for this lovely performance! 💚 p/s: i'm waiting for your justin bieber covers jsyk 👀

2007 when i first listened to the original song. From a collection of classic songs by a Korean student. I searched about the tragic end and success of this song. But now Mark erased the tragedy of this song for me. His cover makes me feel that love is really about patience, it's pure and everlasting. Mark's simple rendition touched my heart more than covers with flairs and style. He stayed true to the original but put his soul into it. We can all feel the love passed down from his parents.

ransxu thank you for sharing your story! i still get goosebumps thinking of the behind story of this song rip yoo jae ha 😔 indeed mark's rendition although it's simple and similar to the original, somehow it stuck to me the most compared to others who gave their own twist to the song. he sings with genuine emotions. his parents really did a great job raising him 🥺💚

ap w Yoo Jae Ha died in a car accident a few months after the release of his 1st album, Because I love you is the most popular of all his songs in that album. It was very sad because he could have made even more beautiful song like this.

i genuinely didn't expect to cry this much. i can't express how much love i have for both mark and for nct. personally, mark holds a special place in my heart because he was one of my very first biases as i stanned nct. i didn't realize how much nct had done for me for the past couple of years: they've truly made me happier than i was before. listening to this, i can't help but shed tears at the thought of how much love MARK has for us nctzens. i'm reminded of how sweet, loving, caring, and hardworking he is. i will never regret finding nct and getting to know mark as an nctzen. mark lee, i love you so much. thank you for everything.

Im shook that I saw an 11 minute-loop of Mark singing this song here in my recommendations, thank you sm. When I watched him performed this I didnt know why but hot tears came running down my eyes and I was shooked af at myself. I used this once when I was having some intrusive thoughts and anxiety, it calmed me then I prayed and went to sleep.
