“Let me bring you back to [crazy thing Mark offhandedly mentions].” Kevin is the best interviewer. Mark is the best guest but he feels self-conscious talking because he is so used to being a host. Two of my favorite comedians: a match made in heaven!

This felt like I got to listen in on a therapy session, but therapy where the person cares about you. Therapy where the person's also a comedian and understands what you've been going through and is making you realize that you've been a success, and are continuing to be a success. You're a better comic than you think you are Mark, and you're doing it big! All the best!
@matodon77783 жыл бұрын
It might have seemed tedious or pushy of Kevin Pollak to keep asking for more details and fleshing out the stories, but this is the first I've heard of Enice and bribing the math teacher, and I've listened to many many Kevin Hart interviews. Kudos to both Kevins!

Keep grinding, Mark! You are undeniably, without question, a true comedian who will go down as one of the greatest joke writers in history. I hope you are enjoying every minute of your life, man! ...and cherish the terrible moments that pop-up in your life. Like alchemy-in-action, they can turn into the most hilarious and original comedy bits! I hope that doesn't sound preachy, lol. You probably know all of that anyway. Just keep doing what you're doing. ...and thanks for every chuckle and gut-laugh (there have been many!) you have provided me through standup, Tuesdays and other podcasts like this one. Lastly, Thank You Kevin Pollak for producing this fantastic podcast! It's great being able to listen to a legendary comedian enjoying the company and giving advice to a future legend.

I had the opportunity to drive Mr. Pollak and Mr. Larry David from a hotel to the airport. They were talking, and it was so funny and I was laughing so hard my eyes were watering. I finally said "please stop". Larry David looked up and said "what?" Like he was insulted. I said "you're making me laugh so hard I can barely see". He says "oh". They toned it down a little after that. Still one of my favorite drives to this day!

Having a comedian, so well versed in the art of interview like Pollak, actually guiding Mark in conversation was an eye opener. Actually saying "wait, you just skimmed over ____". You skim over your NUGGETS fatty! Love it!

No, Mark is a great guest on all appearances. Check out his Rogan appearance. Pollak is clearly disinterested, takes Mark away from his story to "take him back" Pollak is not listening to him. Huge tuesgay checking in, huge fan of both mark and kevin. Unrelated, but sort of related, i recently re-wathced "A Few Good Men" this week, which Kevin was in, as well as Demi Moore and Tom Cruise. I was mentioning how great of a movie it was to my coworkers and had to point out how attractive Demi Moore was in it, so I dropped the line, in a semi-professional work environment, "I'd murder a a full Kinder Garden Class to get within a 100 yards of Demi Moore circa 1992!" And it killed, and i am also now unemployed. #jokes #comedy

Geezus. Why does it feel like Pollak is annoyed? He keeps grilling Mark about redundant details and doesn't let Mark talk. The only other episode I heard was when Burr was on and in comparison Pollak was like a tween girl smitten on the backstreet boys. I love Mark, for some reason Kevin is trying to under mine him, if this is your only exposure to Mark please check out his appearance on Rogan. Even his episode on The Honey Dew or Are You Garbage do much better justice

Man so interested to hear this because I love Mark Normand but man how many commercials can you fit. Pretty much ruined the whole talk show I'll listen to 3-4 hours but if it's constantly cutting back to a commercial over and over it ruins the experience for the listener. I get that you want to make a lot of money but you also want a lot of listeners and you killed my experience with the greed. So I got through 5 minutes hey didn't waste a lot of my time
