The guy who worked with Ed on the EVH brand is Chip Ellis and the guitar Wolf is playing is his new Signature model called the EVH SA-126 which is a semi hollow body with a hard tail bridge instead of a Floyd Rose and the 126 designation is Eddie's Birthday January 26th...

Yes! It killed me I couldn't remember Chip's name in the moment. I should have had it pulled up when we filmed. I'm really interested in playing with one of those semi hard bodies. I watched a video with Wolf and Chip talking about that new model, and it sounds really cool. Thanks for reminding me of the name. I hope you've subbed to the channel and plan on checking out more of our stuff.

This reaction video popped on my KZfaq feed last night because I've been borderline obsessed with Wolf's new album. Love the commentary. It's the best reaction video I've seen on any of Mammoth WVH songs so far. Kudos LML. I would like to point out one thing that gets overlooked by all of those that I've been watching over the weekend. Rightly so, Wolf is getting tons of props on his musicianship and his legacy because of Eddie. But something that's going unmentioned is his acting/comedic timing in his videos. Wolf is the son of two very talented individuals, and Valerie is a very good actress. Wolf is the perfect combination of BOTH his parents.

"Love the commentary. It's the best reaction video I've seen on any of Mammoth WVH songs so far. Kudos LML." Thanks so much! We love Wolf around here. I think we've reacted to all his music videos, as well as some of his live stuff, so poke around the channel and let us know what you think of those other reactions. "But something that's going unmentioned is his acting/comedic timing in his videos." Yeah, you're absolutely right. This video really ratcheted things up a notch from the "Don't Back Down" video, and we recently reacted to his brand new video for "I'm Alright," and he's almost just making fun little short films at this point. If you haven't seen our reaction to that one go take a look and let me know what you think: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nJ-ngJd-u7jXgGQ.html Thanks for checking out stuff out. I hope you've already subbed to the channel and plan on sticking around!

I love this song! I know you guys are about the guitar. His drumming here kicks a**. It’s so intense - what a workout. Love that the band he assembles is his touring band.

Ricky and I get stuck on the guitar, but you're absolutely right! Wolf's drumming is also just stunning. His legacy with Eddie always kind of overshadows the fact that his uncle is also a world-class drummer in his own right, and presumably, Wolf still plays with Alex. And yeah, the video is awesome. I love how fun it is.

All of the other band players are his touring band...that's part of what makes it hilarious. Frank Sidoris - Janitor/Guitar Jon Jourdan - Guitar Hero player/Guitar Ron Ficarro - Pizza guy/Bass Garrett Whitlock - Drums

Every time I watch this, I notice other Easter eggs. The tattooed drummer in a black shirt doing Jaeger shots (Grohl). The wall of Marshalls. The janitor sweeping.

You guys gotta react to "Take A Bow" from the same album. The solo is insane.

If you want to hear the only song that he sang lead vocals on check out how many say I it's the last track on Van Halen 3. Eddie wanted Gary to sing it, but Gary thought it was more impactful if Eddie did it.

Yep, I've heard it. I actually waited outside the record store on release day to buy VH III. I love the piano at the beginning of "How Many Say I." I desperately wish we'd had more recordings of EVH playing classical piano. In the book "Eruption," Eddie talks about playing piano and how much he both loved it and was annoyed by it. He says it annoyed him because the keys acted as a physical disconnection between him and the strings of the instrument. He said that one of the reasons he loved guitar was that there were many, many ways to find "the notes between the notes," but with a piano you can't physical touch the strings. I thought that was fascinating. Having said all that, as much as I dearly love Ed, and we've done a lot of videos on VH and EVH, he ain't my favorite singer. Even doing backup.
